This evening I gave a presentation on an International Association of Canine Professionals webinar regarding e-collars. I am grateful for their hospitality!

It probably wasn’t the presentation that people might have expected, and I shared my current, PERSONAL perspective on several areas regarding e-collar use within the industry itself, and amongst users more broadly.

I may get shot down for it, I don’t know.

But I’m comfortable either way. Because I am at an age where I am supremely confident at being true to myself.

I’m at a position in life where the only criticism that genuinely concerns me is my own, and nobody is capable of critically analysing me better than myself.

I hope the IACP members find value in it!

This was what happened when my other dog (just out of shot to the right) approached me for a stroke.

This dog rushed in at her immediately and this was the moment that happened.

This dog is NOT resource guarding me.

Nor is it ‘protecting me’.
