St Giles Veterinary Centre Veterinary Centre onsite at St Giles Animal Centre in Wrantage. St Giles Veterinary Centre is based onsite at St Giles Animal Centre in Wrantage Taunton.

The practice is open to the public by appointment only and treats the boarding & rescue animals onsite. We have a full functional theatre including x-ray and ultra-sound. Our evening and on-call is through Mount Veterinary Hospital in Wellington 01823 662286.

During the Second World War, animals played vital roles, both on the front lines and at home, serving alongside their human counterparts. From horses and dogs to pigeons and cats, their loyalty and bravery saved countless lives.

Meet Nora
She came into St Giles Animal Welfare in a very bad way, underweight and needed lots of care and attention. We managed to get her into a foster home straight away to keep her as calm as possible. Nora had to visit the vets and it was discovered that she had Chronic untreated bladder stones that (as you can see) were very large for her little body and you can imagine how uncomfortable this would have been for her.
Unfortunately Nora is not out of the woods just yet, she requires more tests to make sure her liver is ok after having been through so much already. 😢
We will keep you updated on how she is and how she recovers from her surgery. Please wish Nora a speedy recovery and she will remain in foster care until she is ready. ❤

Do you have any unwanted gifts that could make a fantastic raffle prize? We are desperately in need of items for our raffles, tombola, craft stalls etc for the coming events season.

You can drop them off at the centre or alternatively we have donation bins at Sainsbury's Hankridge Farm and also the Town Centre.
