The County Veterinary Clinic was established in January 2005 by veterinary surgeons Rachel Haslett & Dan Holden, with the sole intention of providing the same high standard of care for their patients that they would expect for their own pets, run by a friendly, compassionate and approachable team. As our aim is to provide the highest standard of care and service to you and your pet, we place a rea

l emphasis on investing in high quality equipment and facilities, as well as updating the knowledge and skills of our staff through continuing professional development and training. We provide a comprehensive veterinary care service, and have extensive facilities and equipment available to enable us to investigate and treat more complex problems if required. We are also one of only a handful of veterinary practices in the UK to have a specialist in veterinary anaesthesia and pain management as one of our staff.

Louis came in today with a swelling on his paw that was not healing, we investigated and found a pesky grass seed hiding in the wound.

Luckily he was a very brave little man, with some medication on board we are hopeful he is now on the mend!

Have you noticed your dog or cat has had smelly breath, red gums or excess build up of tartar or calculus on their teeth?

We are now offering fixed price dentals for your pets!

This service includes:
• 3 post operative checks
• Dental x-rays
• Full mouth assessment including dental charting
• Scale and polish
• Extractions if required

You can see in the before and after pictures below the difference it can make. Luckily Minty did not need any extractions, just a scale and polish.

If you would like for us to perform a complimentary check of these details for you, please give the surgery a call to organise.
