We are now up to £1,070 raised from yesterday’s bake sale and tombola alone! 🥰Thank you all so much for your incredible support.

We had an amazing day and were overwhelmed by how many people came out to support us and the rescue kitties in our care.

But the most exciting news is that we now have three potential adoptions from people who met our cats yesterday! This is absolutely incredible and something that may not have happened without the event 🥳🥳🥳

A huge thank you to everyone who has sent messages of support and to those who have made direct payments to the vet account. Your kindness means so much to us.

Thank you also to our wonderful volunteers, friends, and family, as well as everyone who donated tombola prizes and baked such delicious cakes. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

We still have a few cakes left for sale (somehow we haven’t managed to eat them all yet!), so they’ll be available until tomorrow. Anything remaining will be frozen for another day. (maybe a few crumbs ) 😅

We’ll definitely be doing this again later in the year, so if you’re a keen baker or have tombola items in a few months time and would like to help, please get in touch. We’d love to hear from you! 🐾❤️

£1,001 Raised to Help the 17 Cats in Our Care! 🐱❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who visited, donated, baked cakes, supplied prizes, or supported us in any way. Your generosity has been incredible, and thanks to you we have raised £1,001 for the 17 cats currently in our care.

We’re still receiving donations, including contributions made directly to our Drove Vet account, and every penny will make a real difference to the cats who need us most.

We truly cannot thank you enough for your kindness, support, and community spirit. ❤️❤️❤️

It’s been a busy and emotional 24 hours here at the cattery.

We’ve welcomed two new rescue cats into our care, both with significant medical needs.

🐾 First is Biscoff, a handsome ginger boy who has a cherry eye condition. He has seen the vet and now has an appointment with a veterinary specialist (Alex) on Monday, where we’ll find out whether surgery will be needed.

🐾 Then there’s Bandit, who has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), often known as Wobbly Cat Syndrome. He’s going to need plenty of patience, support, and ongoing care as he settles into rescue life.
We have only seen CH in older customer cats so if anyone has any knowledge and would like to share their experiences, please message us! 

On a brighter note, we’ve been overwhelmed by the kindness of our supporters today. So many wonderful people have dropped off donations for our tombola and cake stall, and we can’t thank you enough.

We’re really looking forward to tomorrow’s bake sale and tombola from 10am–12pm. If you’re coming along, please park off the driveway so our regular customers can continue to drop off and collect their cats without disruption.

Bring your spare change and come and say hello! Every penny raised will help us continue caring for the 17 rescue cats currently in our care.

If you can’t make it to the cake sale and tombola but would still like to help, donations can be made directly to our account at Drove Vets, or you can give them a call to contribute towards the care and treatment of our rescue cats.

We’ve had quite a variety of visitors staying in the cattery over half term 😅🥰

Rescue kitty Rolo was in the vets today for his procedure. His wound was treated, and he was neutered, microchipped, and tested for FIV. Sadly, he tested positive, so he’ll need a loving indoor home with access to a secure patio or cat-proof garden.

Plus lots of rescue and customer kitty’s 🥰

Peaches has been sorting out the tombola prizes and getting everything ready for Saturday’s cake bake sale!

How many Dreamies are in the pot so far? If any are missing, it’s down to her! 😂
