Hello,
I’m Meg, the owner of PawWalks! I’m a 4★ licensed boarder based in the Woodhall Park. I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and first aid trained.
Here are the services I offer:
Daycare – Ideal if you work long hours or have a busy schedule and want your dog cared for in a safe, home-from-home environment. Your dog will spend the day in a small, supervised group where they can socialise, play, and relax. The day includes a mix of enrichment activities, playtime, rest periods, and walks where appropriate. I keep a calm, structured routine to help dogs feel settled and comfortable. Fresh water is always available, and feeding can be done to suit your dog’s usual routine.
Hours are typically 8am–6pm, with flexibility available if arranged in advance. This service runs 7 days a week and is perfect for socialisation.
Overnight Stays – Perfect for holidays or longer trips, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. Dogs stay in a home-from-home environment rather than kennels, with cosy sleeping areas and a routine similar to what they’re used to. During their stay, they’ll enjoy daily exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention, as well as socialising with other suitable dogs. I keep group sizes manageable to ensure each dog receives individual care. Feeding routines, dietary requirements, and any medication can all be catered for.
Before any booking, a meet and greet is required. This is an important step to make sure PawWalks is the right fit for both you and your dog. It gives you the chance to visit the setting, see where your dog will spend their time, and ask any questions about routines, safety, or care. It also allows me to get to know your dog’s personality, behaviour, and needs—such as their temperament around other dogs, any medical requirements, feeding routines, or preferences. Most importantly, it helps your dog become familiar with me and the environment in a calm, positive way.
If all goes well, a trial day or overnight stay will then be arranged. This trial is designed to gently introduce your dog to the new routine without the pressure of a long stay. It helps me assess how they settle, interact with other dogs, and adapt to the environment. During this time, owners should remain available and contactable, just in case your dog becomes unsettled and needs to be collected early. This ensures your dog’s comfort and wellbeing always come first, while also building confidence for future bookings.
