🐾 THE IMPORTANCE OF REGULAR GROOMING 🐾

I wanted to share these photos to highlight why keeping up with your dog's grooming is so important. ❤️

When a dog's coat becomes severely matted, unfortunately, there isn't always an option to keep the length.

Mats tighten and pull on the skin, causing discomfort and sometimes hiding sore skin underneath. When matting is this severe, the coat has to be clipped short. Trying to brush out tight, compacted mats can be painful for your dog, so their comfort and welfare must always come first.

🐶 Prevention is always better than cure!

Regular grooming appointments and brushing at home between visits help prevent the coat from becoming matted and can save your dog from having to lose their lovely coat length.

Every dog deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin, and sometimes starting afresh with a short clip is the kindest thing we can do. ❤️

Please keep up with your dog's grooming routine, and if you're unsure how often they need grooming, I'm always happy to help.
