Professional de-shed groom to blow out that thick undercoat and leave your dog feeling lighter and cooler.

Prices:
£10 - £15: Pug - with ears + a**l glands included
£15: Labrador, Belgian Malinois, Border Collie
£15 - £20: Pointer, Beagle, Rottweiler
£20: Chow Chow
£20 - £25: Short hair German Shepherd
£20 - £30: Husky
£25 - £30: Akita

What is a double coated dog?
A double coated dog has 2 layers of fur: a soft, thick undercoat for insulation and a harsher topcoat that repels dirt and water. Breeds like Huskies, Labs, GSDs, and Collies are double coated.
Why do they need de-shedding?
Regular brushing only gets the top layer. A de-shed removes the loose undercoat before it mats, reduces shedding in your home by up to 90%, and helps regulate their temperature in summer.

Important: If your dog has a groom which includes clipping they do not have a double coat.
Double coated breeds do not have hair that continuously grows, it’s a coat under the top coat which grows once/twice a year.

TEETH CLEANING IS COMING BACK! 🐶✨

Hi all! I’m thinking of bringing back professional Emmi-Pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning at the salon.

I did it before but it was an expensive kit and not many people booked, so before I buy in again I need to know YOU actually want it!

How it works:
First session: £30 - £45
Includes consultation + your dog’s own personal brush head
Maintenance sessions: from £20 every 4-8 weeks

I’m planning to run this 1-2 days per month.
It’s pain-free, no sedation, and amazing for tartar, bad breath + gum health.

Just a quick note to everyone 💛

Over the past 8 weeks I’ve had 16 appointment cancellations on the day. That means huge gaps in my diary, lost income, and hours waiting around.

Please, only book if you’re sure you can come. If you’re having issues or money’s tight, I will always meet you with sympathy and do what I can to help — just talk to me. I’ve had health problems myself recently and know how hard it is to juggle things.

I’ve got 20+ years experience working with big, difficult, nervous and even dangerous dogs — the ones other groomers won’t take. I do this because I love helping dogs and making it a safe, happy experience for them.
I’m also always on hand for free advice on behaviour and certain health issues, and I do local pick-up/drop-off at no extra charge.

I’ve also had a few people be extremely rude while still expecting a discount. I’ve got bills to pay like everyone else, and that part has been really upsetting.

I get that life is busy with kids, holidays, etc and appointments are easy to forget. But I rely on these bookings to keep going.

Thank you to everyone who does turn up and supports me. It means the world.

Hello 👋 I’m back!

Just catching up on a mountain of messages. I’m back in on Tuesday and will reply to everyone then.

Had a bit of a rough time — dog decided to trip me up and I ended up with black eyes AND a damaged ankle 🙈 Needed some time to heal.

Not exactly R&R, but hopefully I’ll be back to my usual table-swinging and sc******ng self by Tuesday 🤣
