FLEA SEASON 😬

Please make sure your dog is checked for fleas before your grooming appointment

With dogs coming in and out all day i do try my best to make sure all dogs are checked before starting and sent straight home if fleas are found but the best defence is making sure your dogs are all up to date with their flea treatments

PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOUR DOG IS FOUND TO HAVE FLEAS AND SENT HOME UNGROOMED THE APPOINTMENT IS STILL CHARGED WITH AN ADDED £10 EXTRA FLEA CHARGE

It can have such a big impact when a dog with fleas comes in the shop depending on the infestation and at what time they are found during the groom (e.g matted shave offs they may not be found until hair is being removed) here it is from my side so I just want to explain why your appointment still needs to be paid for plus the flea charge.

* Sending a dog straight home when their allocated appointment time has been booked out in the diary means losing money

* Deep cleaning, spray treating and having a period of ventolating the whole shop in the middle of the day which means a lot of extra work and other appointments have to be pushed back meaning having to work later to catch up plus the added costs of the flea treatments

*Deep cleaning, and setting off flea bombs in the shop meaning appointments have to be cancelled and shop is closed for the day which means a lot of hard work and losing what could be up to a whole days money plus having to rebook and find other places the the cancelled dogs plus the added cost of the flea treatments

It may sound extreme but this the reality of what what happens once you come to collect and take your dog home on my side and I'm not having any of the little buggers in the shop ha ha! protecting all of the dogs that enter my shop is my main priority so I hope you all understand why the charges are in place and why i do not groom dogs with fleas
