I donā€™t yet have a date for the new salon opening so these appointments will be based either in Throckley or Ponteland depending where I am renting a table on the day.
I am quite flexible of where I am if you need to be local for walking etc just let me know šŸ„°

9th sept - 9am & 10.30am
10th sept - - 1.30pm (small breed groom or bath only!)
11th sept - 1.30pm (as above)
14th sept - 9am, 11.30am (nail trim only)
16th - 9am & 1pm
21st - 12pm
22nd - 9am
23rd - 9am, 10.30am, 12pm & 1.30pm
24th - 9am

Iā€™ve had quite a few messages and voicemails today regarding booking appointments, lots from new dogs which is very exciting!
I will get back to everyone later today/ tomorrow as todayā€™s been a whirlwind and I need to decompress šŸ˜…

Iā€™m currently fully booked until the 7th September.
My last day working from Love Dogs Throckley is tomorrow.
At the moment I still donā€™t have a temporary space to work from after this while we wait for the new salon to be ready, all updates will be posted on the page.

As a reminder, from September my working hours are changing instead of working
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & every other Saturday 9-5

My new hours from September will be
Monday - Friday 9 - 2:30
Every other Saturday 10-4

This is to work around my childrenā€™s school hours so Iā€™m able to enjoy more time with themšŸ’—

Once the new salon is open Iā€™ll be looking for another groomer to work alongside me so we can get everyone in!

The wait is overā€¦ I can officially announce that Tidy Tails has a new home! šŸ’—

We will soon be opening in Walbottle!

Thereā€™s still plenty of work to do, and we need to get through the planning permission process first, but I have such high hopes for this salon. Itā€™s going to be bigger, better, and everything Iā€™ve dreamed of creating for you and your pups. šŸ«¶šŸ»

Tomorrow is my last day in the current salonā€¦ šŸ„¹šŸ¤

Iā€™ll be emptying everything out afterwards, so the salon will be closed on Friday while I make the move.

A huge thank you to the lovely Allison at Love Dogs Throckley for letting me use her salon while sheā€™s away. From 1st - 8th august, all appointments will be based there.

After the 8th, I donā€™t have anything confirmed just yet, but please donā€™t worry, your appointments will still be going ahead! It may just mean Iā€™ll be working from another salon or returning to mobile grooming for a short time while everything is sorted. If home appointments wouldnā€™t be suitable for you, please let me know as soon as possible.

The exciting news is that the new salon should be confirmed once I collect the keys next week! šŸ¤žšŸ» As soon as I have them, Iā€™ll be submitting the planning application, and if all goes smoothly, Iā€™m hoping everything will be ready within around 6 weeks.

I just want to say a massive thank you to every single one of you for your patience, support and kind messages over the past few weeks. I know all the uncertainty is a bit of a pain, but Iā€™m doing everything I can to make the transition as smooth as possible.

I honestly canā€™t wait to show you all whatā€™s coming next šŸ«¶šŸ» onwards and upwards āœØ

Iā€™m now fully booked until September! Any cancellations will be posted on this page, so keep an eye out.

Iā€™ve had a bit of a reset day today and spent some lovely time with my family, which was exactly what I needed. šŸ«¶

I donā€™t have any updates on new premises just yet. If youā€™ve missed whatā€™s been happening recently, Iā€™ll sadly be losing my salon on the 1st August.

At the minute, Iā€™m not 100% sure where Iā€™ll be working while I find a new premises. It may mean going back to mobile grooming for a little while, as thatā€™s how Tidy Tails first started.

If you have an appointment booked, please donā€™t worry. your appointment is still going ahead. Iā€™ve had some incredibly kind salon owners reach out and offer me space to work from, so Iā€™m just getting dates organised. Iā€™ll let everyone know well in advance where your appointment will be taking place.

Thank you all so much for your support, kind messages and patience over the last few weeks. It honestly means more than you know. šŸ¤
