IMPORTANT: To all Tiny Totters this morning, due to the strong winds we think it best to cancel our ridden session today. You are more than welcome to come and have a stable management session on the yard instead or we can move you forward to next week? Please let us know your preference xx

📱🎉 WE HAVE A YARD PHONE AGAIN!! 🎉📱

After what can only be described as a technological battle of epic proportions, we are delighted to announce that Twinstead has finally rejoined the 21st century! 😂

There have been forgotten passwords, Apple IDs that apparently belong to nobody, security delays, verification codes, several threats to throw everything out of the window and a LOT of questioning our life choices! 🤦‍♀️🤣

Quite frankly, dealing with 50 horses is considerably easier than setting up one iPhone. At least when a horse refuses to cooperate, you can usually bribe it with a carrot! 🥕🐴

BUT WE DID IT!! 🥳

📞 Our yard phone is now fully operational on the SAME NUMBER as before!

We sincerely apologise if you’ve tried to call or message us recently and we’ve missed you. We haven’t been ignoring you — we’ve just been held hostage by Apple and EE! 😂

Please do get back in touch if you’re still waiting for a reply.

Normal service has resumed… well, as normal as things ever get at Twinstead! 🤣🐴❤️

🐴💕 WORKING LIVERY OPPORTUNITIES – FREE LIVERY! 💕🐴

Do you have an older, experienced horse or pony who isn’t quite ready for retirement but would enjoy a quieter pace of life?

We’re looking for some lovely horses and ponies to join our riding school team at Twinstead Riding School, near Sudbury, Suffolk.

We’re particularly interested in older, sensible horses and ponies with jumping experience who still enjoy their work but would benefit from a less demanding lifestyle.

🌟 What we’re offering:

🐴 FREE livery, including standard farrier costs.

🌿 24/7 herd turnout across our beautiful 100-acre setting.

❤️ A relaxed, natural lifestyle with horse welfare at the heart of everything we do.

🏇 Light, varied work suited to each horse’s age, ability and individual needs.

🌳 Fantastic hacking and a friendly, welcoming yard.

🐎 An experienced team who will treat your horse as one of their own.

What we’re looking for:

🐴 Older, experienced horses and ponies who still have plenty to offer.

🏇 Horses with established jumping experience who are happy and confident over fences.

❤️ Kind, sensible temperaments suitable for a riding school environment.

✅ Horses must be sound, suitable for ridden work and comfortable jumping.

🌿 Horses who are happy living out in a herd environment.

We’re not looking for competition superstars or horses to work endlessly! We’re looking for genuine horses and ponies who know their job and would enjoy helping our riders develop their confidence and skills.

This could be the perfect opportunity for an older horse to enjoy a quieter working life without the expense of livery, while still having a purpose, routine and plenty of companionship.

Every horse will be considered individually to ensure the arrangement is right for them.

If you have a horse or pony who deserves to take life a little easier but isn’t ready to hang up their horseshoes just yet, we’d love to hear from you! 💕

📩 Please message Twinstead Riding School with a few details about your horse or pony.
