Yesterday we were awarded the Silver ISFM award 🐱 🐾
But what does this actually mean?
🩷We are a cat friendly clinic, we have high standards of care, we understand unique needs for patients, we have calm interactions, we have appropriate care equipment and we have three feline advocates. 🩷
Our three cat advocates in practice are:
Lauren Abbey - Head RVN
Holly White - MRCVS
Madeleine Golby - Receptionist
Last summer we renovated the reception and waiting area to create a calmer, more cat-friendly environment. With an improved layout and space it helps reduce stress and provides a separate waiting areas for our cats and dogs. 🐾
Also, towards the end of last year we also renovated our upstairs areas to create a dedicated cat ward, further supporting a calm-species specific environment in line with the ISFM standards. Allowing cats to feel safe and to minimise stress on their visits.
We hope this positively impacts our feline patients and helps reduce their stress in practice 🐾 💗🐱
