Earlier on today this gorgeous girl was in to be neutered and microchipped ahead of the new microchipping laws that are coming into place in June.
She loved sitting at the top of the cat castle keeping eyes on everyone and everything and especially loved lots of fuss!

💚 We are celebrating the fantastic news thar our wonderful student nurse Lucy has passed her exams and is now a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse! (pending official registration) 💚
We are hugely proud of Lucy, her dedication and all the hard work to achieve this. Our fantastic head nurse Lauren was her clinical coach and a great role model. Lucy has been with us over 5 years and is a familiar face at The Ark to all our clients. Here she is with 2 of her favourite patients, and with head nurse Lauren. Congratulations ❤️
🐶⭐️One of our student nurses had a busy weekend last week! Abbie competed at crufts with one of her dogs- Ash! 🐶 ⭐️
On Thursday, they competed in Heel work to music freestyle and won! 🥇
On Friday, they competed in Obedience and handling and they was super but sadly no placings! 🐾
On Saturday, they competed in Rally ( Rally is a set course consisting of a range of obedience style exercises) and they won 🥇
On Sunday, they did a rally demonstration in the main ring and a couple of demonstrations in the dog activities ring. 🐾
Well done to Abbie & Ash for an awesome performance at crufts 🐾 🏆
⭐️ Paddy the superstar ⭐️
This is Paddy, a much loved patient who’s been coming in very regularly the past few months!
Last September paddy was diagnosed with an Osteosarcoma (an aggressive form of bone cancer).
He was quickly referred to an orthopaedic practice to have his leg amputated. Once he recovered from the operation he then started chemotherapy with us and has come in to the practice every 3 weeks since November for his treatment. 🩺
Today was his final chemotherapy session with us! He’s always been extremely well behaved and heroic throughout everything. He especially loved the nurses cuddles 🥰

In your lovely bouquet of flowers avoid Lilies but azaleas, tulips, daffodils and chrysanthemums all pose a risk to your feline friends 🐈⬛ 🐈
Remember to also keep your sweet treats high so your canine friends can’t eat them! Especially your chocolates as they’re toxic to them! 🐶

Love is in the air, but so are potential dangers for our feline friends! 🌹 While those beautiful bouquets may steal your heart, some flowers can be hazardous to cats and even chewing on those that aren’t might cause an upset stomach. Lilies, in particular, are notorious for their toxicity, but it's not the only threat. Azaleas, tulips, daffodils, and chrysanthemums are also known to pose risks.
Keep your fur babies safe by choosing cat-friendly blooms such as sunflowers, or orchids and keeping them out of reach. 🌻 Spread the love responsibly, and if you suspect any pet-plant encounters, reach out to your vet as soon as possible.
At the end of last week Elvis Pugsley entered the building 🎤
He came in for first vaccines and a microchip. He was a very brave boy and enjoyed some cuddles with the receptionists🐶
