Today has been a bit of a cat-athon with a 7.30am start and non stop furry CutieCatz regulars all day!

It’s Friday!!! 🥳

One day off this weekend so I better make the most of it!

Today Che had his usual wet bath to help with his oily
coat and matting. He’s an anxious boy who needs lots of cuddles and reassurance even in the airdrier.
Well I won’t complain about cuddles! 🥰

Emergency appointment for Mr Ollie who apparently just loves rolling around in the fields with the lambs near his home! Unfortunately this has resulted in a filthy matted coat and some unwelcome crawly visitors!! Good job he’s such a good boy and let me clip and bath him. All clean now Ollie! 😻

And arriving as a pair, Smokey had to wait while Rocket had his huge coat defloofed. It’s their second visit and they were both very good (despite the numerous grumbly complaints!) 😂

Here’s today’s lovely lot! Bit of a stressful start as my alarm didn’t go off 🫣 so let’s just say we were in a bit of a rush! 🏃🏻‍♀️😥

Beautiful Jade had her usual warm bubble bath and had a lovely chill in the drier afterwards. She’s such a sweetheart 🥰

King of the wigglers Gerald had a (not so quick) claw clip and gave me a good work out!

Absolute darling Violet brought a huge fluffy coat with her but with lots of patience we managed to brush it through. She sings all the way through her groom and always looks so proud of her fur pile! 😻

And the famous wanderer Colin made it (thankfully) after being missing for a few days last week.
Who knows where he’s been but he was badly matted on his sides and needed a bit of clipper treatment! He’s such a good boy though and let me do a decent job! 😍

And lovely oldie Luna really needed some mats and tufts removing. I managed to tease most of them out and she went home looking and feeling wonderful. She turned 19 recently! 🥰

Today has been quite a dreamy sort of a day with all the cats in calm and gentle moods and not the slightest sign of a nip or scratch! ⭐️

Gentle giant Paul has a super fluffy coat (especially around his rear end!) but he likes to doze off during most of his groom and I think is one of the only kitties I have who actually enjoys his bum being brushed! 🤭 What a total champ! 🏆

Silly Lily arrive with a MASSIVE tangly coat so we did a bit of an undercut but was able to brush and tease the rest through. She’s so unbelievably tolerant of brushing and was well proud of her huge fur pile! Nice and cool for summer now Lil! 🥰

And a warm (if not slightly wet and breezy) welcome to newbie Pippa.
I wasn’t sure what I’d get out of her already lovely coat but she didn’t disappoint! A little nervous at first but she soon snuggled up and relaxed. Good job Pippa! 😻

Here are today’s little tinkers! 🐈🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛

Hilarious double trouble with the always charming Gus and his brother Koda (who came along for a first time visit too)
These two are the sweetest, squidgiest kitties and although they’re so different in personality get on amazingly.
Don’t think Gus was too impressed with his brothers antics 😂🥰

Lovely Suki returned with her always very fluffy coat which she won’t let her mum brush!
She can be a little nippy but actually settled really well and I think secretly enjoyed her groom 😍

Gorgeous Gizmo came for his yearly visit and seemed a little less anxious than he has before. A couple of naughty small mats had to be clipped but the rest of his coat brushed out brilliantly! 😻

And teeny tiny absolute sweetheart Polly Pocket had her usual mini pamper and I had a good chat with her mum too.

Hope everyone survived that thunderstorm earlier?! It was a cracker!! ⛈️

My three lovely fluffy kitties today were all glad of a good de floofing for the summer

Sweetheart Ozzie who hasn’t been very well recently was very perky today and enjoyed a pamper. It was nice to see that he’s much better. 😍

Adventurer Buddy loves his nocturnal wanderings but his coat doesn’t so much!
However after in intensive brush through, the detangler spray did its job and finally I was able to get a comb through! 😻

And lovely grumpy madam Poppy was hiding SO much floof, it just kept on coming!!
She looked so much smarter to go home to start her Cattery holiday tomorrow. 🥰

Phew what a day! I’m exhausted!
My ‘no show’ from yesterday emailed this morning thinking her appointment was today. I’d helpfully put the right day and wrong date in the confirmation email so this had caused the mix up. 🫣

I’m happy to admit to a mistake and with lightning fast texting skills and the help of my fantastically supportive customers we managed to shuffle appointments to fit everyone in! 🥳
😅 Fridays eh?…. Always crazy! 🤪

So three became four and I welcomed newbie Lumen who has been waiting a long time for his groom.
This beautiful and boisterous boy put me through my paces but he looked fabulous when we were done! 😻

Lovely quiet little chap Milo had his first ever wet bath and I was proud of him. 🥰
He’s so gentle and doesn’t make a fuss, his coat scrubbed up wonderfully and he went home smelling amazing! Good job Milo! 🏆

Then another big challenge…. Mango. This huge boy is so strong and very wilful so a wresting match ensued. It’s like grappling with a tiger cub!
But again we got there and he was smooth and silky to go home. 😍

And…. Phew… little tiny Luna who I was really pleased to see had no mats and was ready for her little lion wet bath groom. I did a bit of a comb cut on Luna to try and maintain a shorter length and I think you’ll agree she looks stunning and is so happy that she’s no longer a matted tatty kitty! 😻

Defo run out of steam so bring on wine and PJs and here’s to the weekend! 🥂🍻
