Today we went on a Grand Adventure visiting schools with the amazing Justin Somper, author of the PIRATE ACADEMY series, where in a new golden age of piracy in the year 2507, students of the Barracuda Class face perils in a world where water levels have risen and Pirates rule the seas. Together the band of friends, young pirate apprentices Jasmine, Jacoby and Neo and their classmates must strive to be the best while keeping out of the danger that surrounds them!

This is a must read series for bookworms ages 8 - 12 and Justin has kindly signed copies of all three books available in the bookshops from tomorrow!

Come along for an in store signing tomorrow afternoon and meet the marvellous, award-winning children’s author, Justin Somper, all the way from Australia!

Justin will be in our Stockport town centre bookshop between 4:15pm - 5pm signing copies of his latest book out in paperback, Sword of Echoes plus a selection of his back-catalogue. Pre-purchased tickets includes the book which can be signed and dedicated by the author at the event.

This summer, set sail with Justin Somper’s third thrilling Pirate Academy adventure…

Recommended reading age 8 - 12 years.

Doors 6pm for a 6.30pm start

So looking forward to this! Chris has read their latest books and will be sitting down talking to the authors about GIRL FALLING and SOME OF US ARE LIARS, there’ll be a Q&A and a signing to follow. Light refreshments provided!
