This week at Monika’s Pet Grooming I had the pleasure of meeting two adorable clients 🐾

Skye, the Airedale Terrier, came in for hand stripping and she was such a good girl — nothing bothered her at all, and she even fell asleep on the table while I was grooming her 😴❤️

I also met Cooper, the Cocker Spaniel — a very kissy little boy 😂🐶 He absolutely loves attention and definitely stole my heart!

It’s Sunday already, so I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend ☀️💛

I had the pleasure of welcoming Tobi for his second visit❤️🐾
He was brought in by his grandparents while his parents are enjoying their holiday in Thailand, having recently gotten engaged before their trip💍

Tobi was wonderfully well behaved, as always a joy to look after.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting a very special client – a schnauzer named Oscar 🐾

He came in for his first bath. His mum told me that Oscar is very anxious and especially scared of grooming and the sound of clippers. After speaking with his dad, who kindly trusted me, we agreed that if Oscar felt comfortable, I could try to do a full groom.

Oscar was incredibly brave 💛 He allowed me to work with him calmly, although there were a few sensitive areas where he felt unsure – which is completely normal. Building trust takes time, patience, and a gentle approach.

My priority was always his comfort and safety, rather than a perfect haircut. And I’m happy to say our first visit ended on a very positive note 🥰 I even got lots of kisses from Oscar, which is the best reward!

Every dog is different, and sometimes it takes a few visits to achieve the perfect groom – but trust and a stress-free experience always come first 💕

Today I had the pleasure of welcoming two new clients — Maisie the Dachshund and Luna the Retriever cross 🐾❤️

Both girls were very well behaved, and I’m truly grateful that their owners trusted me to care for their furry babies ✨

Maisie came in for hand stripping, which is especially important for certain coat types. Dachshunds can have different coat varieties — smooth, long-haired, and wire-haired — and each requires a different grooming approach to keep the coat healthy and in the best condition.

Proper grooming tailored to the breed and coat type makes all the difference 🐶✂️
Looking forward to seeing them again ❤️🐾

Back to work after a short break spent with my family
I had the chance to celebrate my dad's 77th birthday together with all my loved ones, and it truly reminded me how precious these moments are. Time together like this is something you can't put a price on.
