Today Malky and I competed at the Great British Grooming Show. 🐶 💙

No placement for us this time, but I’m still incredibly proud. This was Malky’s very first grooming competition and my first time grooming him for the ring, and he was an absolute pleasure from start to finish.🙌

I’m really happy with how his groom turned out. I adore this breed so much, although Dandie coats definitely still challenge me! I’m looking forward to hearing my feedback, learning more, and continuing to improve this breed trim 😄

What a day 🐾

Today I competed at the Great Scot Grooming Show with the absolutely gorgeous poodle, Cecil 🐩

This wee star took to the ring like a pro his very first time competing and he didn’t put a paw wrong. I couldn’t be prouder of him.

We came away with 1st place in the poodle class🥇 and I’m honestly blown away. Huge thank you to my judge for the lovely feedback and kind words.

A special thank you to Cecil’s amazing pawrents for their trust and commitment bringing him to me weekly for maintenance and allowing me to work with such a special boy.

And of course, thank you for organising another brilliant event such a great day all round 🤍

Another fantastic workshop today with the amazing .jfox and Mr Fergal the Dandie Dinmont. 💙 Julia is such an amazing teacher and I’m so glad I’ve had this opportunity to learn more about the breed.

I took away so much and learned loads of new techniques and little details that make such a difference.
This is one of my absolute favourite breeds and Mr Fergal was such a good boy, he’s got a big show tomorrow so he’ll be strutting around with his fabulous new do. ✂️🤩
