The North of England Channel club are holding there 1st fundraising moot of the 2025 season on Friday 14 th march at Greenside working men’s club and what a panel we have .3 legends of the sport Mark Gilbert of Windsor ,Brian Bolton of Belgium and East Yorkshire ,and Nigel Layc**k from South Yorkshire,there will also a sale of youngsters from many prominent lofts in the NECC ,so make a date in your diary for what will hopefully be a one off night to remember,with all proceeds going to the NECC to help pay for the vet fees and any incurring expenses making cheaper racing for all our members.
Tickets are £10 and this includes a buffet there will be app150 tickets for sale and can be obtained from our secretary Brian W Hopper or Alan Todd I advise early booking as this should be a super night 👍👍

Well that’s the transfer window closed for the 24-25 season we’ve been really busy trying to source some of the best sprint lines that have been available in the last couple of months,hopefully they will blend in to our already proven and ultra successful Stefaan Lambrechts family ,the pigeons we have purchased rarely come up for sale and all have one thing in common they are all either winners or bred from big winners as this has nearly always been our policy ,I would personally like to thank Thomas H**e for sorting all the photos of our most recent imports .
I would also like to thank mark walker for allowing me the opportunity to purchase one of the best sprint pairs to come up for a long time namely Binkie and Ryhope Rocket I can honestly say I have never handled anything better in all my 60 years in this super sport of ours ,along with these we bought JAYZ a brother of Binkie and LADY B a daughter of Binkie ,we also bought USYK a half brother of both Ryhope Rocket and Princess Alba .
We were also one of the principal buyers at the sensational record breaking sale of The Woodroofe brothers buying the no1 hen in sale Champion 87 and her sister the top price bird in all their sales as well as quite a few other top birds in their sales ,hopefully my health holds out and I can do the new birds justice 🤞🤞🤞we can only try

Here we have our final draft of STEFAAN LAMBRECHTS for this year they are all absolute belters ,with two exceptions Check hen Ap 1390 GUARANTEED GIRL along with her brother ap1594 CONANS CRACKER are not only brother /sister to federation winners but are also brother/sister to breeders of at least 3 combine winners and are both out of this world ,you will not find anything better anywhere on the open market this year .
They along with the other 7 are on EXCELSIOR finishing on Sunday evening at 8pm onwards 10 th November make the most of them as there is no more for sale off the principal pairs till next year .

incidently my best young bird this year was off STEFAANS FAVOURITE AND MY BEST OLD BIRD was off VENETTA .
The hen of the pair is from the super breeding pair PIED PRINCESS AND GABRIELLA who are responsible for winners galore all over the uk ‘1742’ is outstanding in every way handles like a dream and one of the most beautiful hens in the sale ,these two are sold as singles but in my eyes would make a super breeding pair complimenting each other in every department,and off as close as you can get to STEFAANS BEST

RED O HARA has to be one of the finest specimens I have ever put on excelsior,he is absolutely out of this world in every department and direct from the super breeding pair CONAN and SCARLET who are grandparents to at least 3 combine winners and multitudes of fed winners as well as being parents of federation winners for ourselves ,the hen I have chosen specifically for him is direct from The sensational WITPEN LOOKE sire of 1st and 2 nd open all NEHU as well as many other big winners .WITPEN GERTRUDE is sister to at least 10 federation winners .This matched pair are as good as anything to come on the open market this year and anyone buying them or either of them if they are not blown away when they get them il refund there money and any costs incurred immediately.

For our very 1st presentation evening we have pulled out all the stops and have international singing star JAY MERCURY on Jay is going to be doing a tour of the uk starting with our night at Greenside workmen’s club on 8 th November Jay is currently doing a season in Cyprus where he lives ,I will be posting some videos of just how good he is and hopefully we will get a packed house ,all we want is members to support this up and coming club by trying to bring the social side more back into this fantastic sport of ours please support the night you will not regret it especially if you have a share of the £7500 prize money to be payed out tickets can be obtained from myself ,or Brian hopper please book early as any surplus tickets will be offered to the club ,all we want is a full house ,there will also be a buffet ,raffle ,and auction of some birds to help pay for the evening.

Three absolute crackers going for a lot less than they are from the loft ,the two dark checks off one of the best racers we have raced in recent years DARK RADA winner of 3 x1st fed and over £8000 in prize money,but more so now producing winners for fun ,1 daughter of him won 6 x1sts for Varty ,son and grandson then the 1st youngster from her won the massive Cumbrian breeder buyer winning £7000 incidently other youngsters off our birds won £1500 in very same race ,dam of the two darkens is our super stock hen BODICEA dam grand dam to many top pigeons and she’s a daughter of a son of BROERE GOUDE RODE and de 40000 you won’t get any better than these two stunners
