I crossed the rainbow bridge in November 2025 I saw my hu-mum and dad being so sad so I decided to use a little rainbow magic and found Gina and Gemma for them.

Well, that's the girlie's 2nd howliday over. Back home with a van full of floof and a paw print patterned floor lol. As per, Gemma had a happy paddle in the wee burn right beside where we were parked, but Gina, with her disdain for such shinanigans, crossed with the very bare minimum of water contact. πŸ˜‚
We paid a visit to Pabsandpalsrescue and had a lovely catch up with Emmi. She didn't recognise me so I asked her if we could have a refund on the but one get one free deal we got 4 months ago. Suddenly the penny dropped and she was out of the door like a shot. Lol. After a couple of grumbles, the girlies remembered her and went berserk πŸ₯°. We spent a while chatting in the exercise field, in the sunshine, surrounded by beautiful scenery. It was actually quite surreal - 4 months ago it was where we 1st met them but this time they were actually ours and it felt like we've had them for years. We're so proud of their progress. We've still got a long way to go but we're getting there. We also had time for a wee pawdicure from Emmi (Thankyou again Emmi x). I was concerned about their dewclaws so Emmi very kindly clipped them - all 7 of them. (Gina has to be different and only have 3!! πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ€£)

Ok so I'm finally losing my marbles.
On our last howliday we decided we needed a new road atlas. The one I have already is literally dog-eared, taped together and written on. All our journeys with Doogie dog since we began campervaning in 2017.
We decided it would be nice to start a new one with the girlies and keep the old one as a keepsake.
Well,..... Allan very kindly bought a new, big print one. A fancy spiral one, bright colours etc. But, there's a problem. I can't get used to it. It's so different from the other one.
Yesterday I was really losing the will to live. For the life of me I couldn't find Whitby or Scarborough on it.
I'd turn a page and suddenly end up on the West Coast of Scotland or in the centre of Glasgow.
Try to index.... Ok..... Ermmm, can't find Whitby, Scarborough or Bridlington. Stupid map 😑. I reverted back to old dog eared faithful and was reassured to see those places do still exist.
Now here's the answer to my puzzlement....

We decided to take a wee jaunt in the campervan to the beach to see how the girls got on travelling in it. They were absolute stars 🀩. At the beach they had a good chase about but only Gemma ventured into the water. Gina the diva wasn't for getting her tootsies wet 🀣🐾🐾
