Our tranquil setting in an area of outstanding natural beauty will provide exceptional care for your horse whilst recuperating from injury or illness. Conveniently situated only a stones throw from Newnham Court Veterinary Clinic and 20 minutes from Bell Equine we are always prepared to welcome your horse or pony straight from the vets being only 5 minutes from the A249 Detling Hill and 10 minutes

from M20/M2 Motorways. We can always ensure your horse or pony will be part of our equine family and receive the highest level of care from our experienced staff with a combined experience of 70years !! Our spacious and comfortable stables are perfect for

Let's talk feathers !!!!

Clipping not only makes your horse look lovely ! It helps for the many horses who live a daily struggle with various medical conditions
Mites, Mallenders/Sallenders ( Hyperkeratosis)
CPL ( chronic progressive lymphedema)
lice, sweetitch, sores and scabs to name a few and the list goes on 😌

Feathers look lovely on natives and show horses when they are clean and well brushed and bathed on a regular basis as part of a grooming routine.
There are so many different types of
problems that can be brewing or well established under the feathers.
Feathers are a lovely warm, greasy and moist place perfect for mites, dry skin, scabs and bacteria/infection to thrive. Some horses or pony's are prone to different leg problems and however much you try it just seems never ending.

Clipping can really help to alleviate lots of problems and makes it a lot easier to be able to treat and maintain a treatment plan.

At the spa I am clipping lots of legs at the moment
I have seen some really nasty cases of sore legs
Once they are fully clipped and washed with a medicated shampoo and treated you can see how much relief it must feel 🥰

We can work with your vet if needed for sedation or a plan to get things under control

Today the very gorgeous Flo came to visit the spa ❤️
Such a beautiful girl, and an absolute dream to clip and pamper 😍

Flo had a full clip with a fresh hog and a saddle patch left on.
