A full month of house sitting done ✔️ 18 animals looked after 🐶🐴🐱🐀 3 different houses 🏠

First week was with Riley - everyone’s favourite 💙 he was such a good boy, mascot at Cherington Show too. I don’t think he had ever done so much walking in a week😂

2 weeks with Pesto, Maggie, Wila, Elsa 🐶 4 boys🐴 and Pretzel🐱 the absolute mad house! Never a dull moment like when Maggie decided to go for a wonder on the Monday evening for a swim and had a great time after 45 minutes of me shouting for her and driving around 🙄😂 all great fun though!

Last week with 4 sausages🐶 Bertie the pony 🐴 2 rats 🐀 (not my favourite 😂) and 1 cat 🐱 this week I’ve still not over come the fear of rats 😂 lots of Bertie cuddles and sausages who spent the most of the time up to no good 😂

The past 4 weeks have been hard work with house sitting, regular work and additional customers BUT I really wouldn’t change a thing about it!!💙

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐶🐴

I will get back to doing these on time!! Let’s just say it’s been a hectic week 🙈

🏡 2 weeks house sitting with Pesto, Maggie, Wila & Elsa🐶 also Pretzel 🐱 and the 4 boys 🐴 and getting the boys fit and none of them are impressed about trotting 😂

🐶 Emergency dog care for Momo and Peptia the cat 🐈 the owners pet care fell through at the last minute so I stepped in and looked after them both.

🐴 over the weekend I had Ted & Splash, Sunny and Bertie - in 3 different places to feed, poo pick their fields and check they still had 4 legs 😆

🐱 This week I had Gizmo while her owners are away. Coco and Clara are back for another week of care! 😍

🐶 Poppy the spaniel (with the cone of shame on) injured herself so meant she had to stay home and couldn’t go to her boarders so while her owners were out I popped in for an hour to keep her company 🥰

🐶 Luna’s mum and sister had their last fun walk with us! Philo joined all week too. And juggling a heatwave and dogs is a task but hopefully Autumn is just around the corner 🎉😂 (not a summer kind of girl!🙈)

🐶🐴 HOUSE SITTING 2026🐴🐶

My 2026 diary is CLOSED for the time being. I’ve been receiving so many messages wanting me booked in next summer than it’s turning out to me being out house sitting back to back for 2 months 🙈 I love my job dearly but doing 4 weeks back to back in 3 different places is slowly doing me in 🫠

I am aware I have a couple of customers who want spaces for July/August which they do have priority so I’m just waiting for them to confirm☺️

I will still be taking bookings for yard cover, extra dog walks and cat care🐶🐴🐱

I cannot Thankyou all enough for the recommendation, the returning custom and people who are just looking for someone to trust with their animals 🩵

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐶🐴

A new week, a new house sitting stay - Pesto, Maggie, Wila, Elsa, Pretzel and the 4 boys 🐴 for the past week and this week! Also Momo has been in my care too while her owners are away. So lots of early morning walks and making friends! 🐶

Daisy and Mina’s final walk with the gang tomorrow so booked a super fun walk (if not too hot ☀️) everyone’s has so much fun on their adventures this week! Wish the cooler temperatures would stay but will make a plan with everyone due to the forecast of the coming week!🥵

To top off my week, my super boy Jaffa won 2nd place at a local show today! First time out showing together so I better get booking some more outings… don’t worry it won’t effect dog walks 😂

Cat duties finished yesterday after a week with Coco and Clara then a long weekend with Poppy and Tabitha then a short weekend with George and Izzy!

All behaved so week, no accidents or unexpected gifts 🐭 which is always a bonus 😂

A new girly is adding to the long list of animals in my care next week too 😍

🐶 WARWICKSHIRE HUNT KENNELS OPEN DAY 🐶

Yes, I know for me to post this is controversial and people have a lot of opinions about hunting, hounds, what the stand for etc BUT I am open and honest to my customers that this is what I do, I am a groom, I adore the 4 boys which everyone knows and I love seeming them all ready and doing their job that they love. All of my customers know what the horses do - I don’t get into the politics of it all I love my job and I support a sport that has been around for centuries!🐴

I was asked to help with the Terrier and Lurcher show, some beautiful dogs and lovely people. I don’t know a huge knowledge on terrier or lurchers so this was fun!

After a successful day today it was nice to round it off as a successful weekend all round 🐶

Next weekend it’s mine and Jaffa’s turn to be judged 🐴🙈

THANKYOU SO MUCH to everyone who came and supported me and my business as well as this lovely village show!! So much hard work put in to make such a fun day for everyone☺️

The dog show ran brilliantly, thankyou again to my amazing judges and for all you help - is so appreciated you don’t understand! Turn out for classes were fantastic and we made a lot more money than last year! Super fun day🐶

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐴🐶

This past week has been absolute chaos to say the least but just under 5 years ago I would of only dreamt about this!!

🐱 I had Clara and Coco to feed and check this week! Every morning I’d go in and Coco would come running down the stairs to me and both girls would block the door not wanting me to leave!
Poppy and Tabitha have joined this week for a long weekend of check ins and feeds too!

🐶 I have had additional faces join my walks this week as it’s school holidays so the pop in and out over this time! Cooper came for a walk today with the crew. Philo joined last weekend for 2 walks and then back every day next week while his owners are on holiday. Jackson and Dougie came for a run around and a few jumps on Thursday. Luna has invited her sister Mina and mum Daisy on her walks for the next 10 days so lovely to have the full family out 😍 this all includes my fab regulars🥰 all practising yesterday and day their agility skills for tomorrows show!

🐴 The boys are finally finding 2nd gear next week - TROTTING!!🎉 was definitely starting to get boring just walking😂 hopefully they can managed to keep shoes on - Jake decided he was also bored of walking so decided to pull his shoe slightly off so had a flip flop until the farrier today 👠
Also covered Echo & Flo last weekend while their owners were at The Game Fair 🐴

🏡 I’ve had a lovely week of house sitting Riley! Don’t think he’s walked so much and met so many horses in his life😂 the boy deserves a holiday now!! Then off to my next house sitting job for 2 weeks tomorrow!

🎉 Finally, during all this work I’ve also been organising and planning for Cherington Dog Show tomorrow! Amazing prizes from the pet shop, super friends helping and judging and all round should be a brilliant day ☀️🐶🎉

As it’s been such a quiet week, I’m going to need an early night… one day 😂😴

🐶 DAYS OFF & HOUSE SITTING NOTICE 🐶

I’ve posted the days I’m NOT working - I can’t ’squeeze a little walk in’ or just a pop in. I rarely have days off and the days I have off are because I’ve got something planned for the whole day. I’ve had hospital appointments and still worked so I’m not being lazy by saying no. I give plenty of notice for these days off - like my holiday next April has been posted with dates!

House sitting PLEASE give me notice of any help needed. From this week I’m back to back house sitting for a month. I’m happy to do additional work but I’m receiving many messages asking for house sitting in a couple of days time. I have already got 5 house sitting bookings for next year so if you have a rough idea of when you want to go away and you would like me to look after your animals (which I’m always happy to do) I’m more than happy to pencil a rough date in.

Apologies for writing this post but I’m getting many people asking for dog walks on days I’ve stated I am not working and also people wanting house sitting with a couple days to go - I appreciate many people are organised and things happen where people drop out and I’m happy to help where I can but it’s becoming a common occurrence of forgetting to organise pet care!
