Overnight trial: EDDY & IVY

A huge well done to the lovely Eddy & Ivy (Bro & Sis) who successfully passed their overnight home boarding trial last night 🎉

Ivy, is a beautiful small Labrador and she is quite possibly the happiest girl in the entire world EVER!!!!! Despite being partially blind, she doesn't let it slow her down one bit, in fact, you'd never even know it one bit! Her tail never stops wagging and she is a ball of pure joy and enthusiasm🌟🐕💛

Then there's Eddy, a wonderful & slightly grumpy utterly lovable chap. He's very much a "watch from afar" kind of dog... until he hears the rustle of the treat bag, of course! Then suddenly he's front and centre, ready to supervise proceedings 😂🍖🐾

Both dogs settled in brilliantly and were an absolute pleasure to have stay with me. I can't wait to welcome them back for future sleepovers and their main holiday which is locked in for 2027!!

Many of my clients & friends will be pleased to know that I eventually took a rare day off yesterday and what a fantastic day it was!!! 🐎🐎🐎

…the heels have been retired and my trusty Nike’s are back on 😂

Today I’m back to Daycare, Trials & answering calls, messages & enquiries today so please get in touch - today will mainly be sponsored by caffeine 🤪

I’m sharing this post on behalf of a lovely lady I know who is well established in Home & Pet sitting..

Pet sitting is where someone stays within YOUR own home and keeps your pets in the environment that they’re used to and comfortable with..

I get a tonne of enquiries for “solo” boarding - which I simply cannot offer and I ALWAYS offer these details as a very good alternative!!!

She has different prices ranges for dogs who need 24/7 care and ones who can be left (as you would if as work..)

She’s incredible, she adores all the animals she cares for and is an extremely good alternative to home boarding or kennels - not to mention she’s super house proud! 🧼 🫧

Fail to prepare.. prepare to fail!!!

WE ARE PREPARED!!!!

Yesterday saw the arrival of our new portable cooling system and another four large cooling mats were also purchased!

Whilst some dogs prefer to solar charge in the blazing sun (..like my Chihuahua 🇲🇽), not all dogs can handle it and EVERYONE needs some cool time - Indoor enrichment is key when the temperatures are this high, it’s important to make sure everyone is mentally stimulated 🧠🐶

We have:
• Frozen Doggie Ice Creams
• Two Paddling Pools
• Frozen Ice Bowls with Hidden Treats
• Frozen Kongs
• Enough Licky Mats & pate to sink a ship 😂
• Snuffle mats - Small, Medium & Large!
• MORE cooling mats
• FOUR fans inc. an industrial one!
• A hose pipe at the ready 💦
