One question we get asked a lot is how we manage multiple dogs staying with us.

At Muddy Paws, the safety and wellbeing of every dog is our top priority. Dogs are never left together unsupervised, and we carefully manage all interactions to ensure everyone is happy, safe, and comfortable.

Each dog has their own dedicated room and space to relax, rest, and sleep. We always encourage owners to bring plenty of home comforts, such as their own bed, blankets, favourite toys, treats, and even an old jumper or T-shirt that smells of you. Familiar scents can be incredibly comforting and help dogs settle much more quickly into their new surroundings.

We know every dog is different, so we take the time to get to know their individual personalities, routines, and needs. Our aim is to make their stay feel as much like home as possible.

As a licensed boarding provider, we are committed to providing a safe, calm, and loving environment where dogs can enjoy their own holiday while owners have complete peace of mind. 🐾🤎

✨ A little makeover for our Relaxation Room ✨

Creating a home-from-home environment is at the heart of everything we do at Muddy Paws. 🐾

We’ve recently introduced dividers to our relaxation room to give each dog their own personal space when they need it. Some dogs love socialising all day, while others enjoy having a quiet corner to relax and recharge.

Although we are a cage-free home boarding environment, we understand that some dogs feel comforted by having a den-like space of their own. That’s why we provide open crates throughout the room, giving dogs the choice to use them if they wish. The doors are never closed – they’re simply there as a safe, cosy retreat.

While our guests enjoy supervised social time throughout the day, we believe quality rest is just as important. We don’t believe dogs should be “on” all day. Just like us, they need time to switch off, relax and recharge.

For this reason, each dog has access to their own designated sleeping and relaxation area. This allows every guest to enjoy uninterrupted downtime, helping them feel safe, settled and well-rested between playtime, walks and cuddles.

Whether it’s stretching out on the sofa, watching the world go by from the window, snoozing on a comfy bed, or curling up in a crate, every dog is free to relax in whatever way makes them feel happiest.

Because every dog deserves to feel safe, comfortable and loved while they’re away from home. 💛

I can’t tell you how excited I am to welcome all of your wonderful dogs back to Muddy Paws. I’ve missed all those wagging tails, happy faces, and cuddles! 🐾✨

A huge thank you to all of my wonderful clients and their lovely doggies for keeping me so busy over the last few weeks of boarding 🐾🤍

My last boarders have now headed home, which means it’s finally time for me to have a little holiday and recharge!

I’ll be back to normal from the 8th of June and can’t wait to see all your gorgeous pups again then. Sending lots of love to you all 🐶✨
