✨ CHANGES OVER THE WINTER PERIOD ✨ We will soon be announcing our closure dates for the Christmas/NYE period and also announcing daycare days that we will close each week throughout the winter period.

As daycare/boarding is run within our home environment, 7 days per week, the wear and tear throughout the winter due to mud/bad weather takes a toll on our home increasing costs for cleaning, and fixing areas that end up damaged due to the strain on the house, and honestly, the endless cleaning becomes quite exhausting.

We have decided that we will close ONE to maybe TWO DAYS per week throughout the winter period to relieve some strain on our home environment to help us keep it clean. We are happy to walk your dogs in replacement for daycare on which days we decide to close, and we appreciate your understanding.

More information to be released in the coming weeks once we have gone through logistics, decided on days and which month we will put this in effect from and to.

This week has been a write off for dog walkers, walks swapped to home visits or cancelled all together, our week and a bit or so has been a mix of early morning dog walks, home visits, boarding/daycare kept cool to avoid heat stroke 🤍

🌡The hot weather is hitting us this week & next, this is my policy regarding hot weather - please read.

》When temperatures rise above 23°, extra precautions are taken to ensure your dogs safety. Walks will either be shortened, cancelled, rearranged for earlier in the day when it’s cooler or changed to home visits for a garden toilet break and indoor playtime for the remainder of the booking. Walks are judged individually based on age/breed/any health conditions.

》I carry water and a bowl on every walk all-year-round anyway but in hot weather, this will be provided at more regular intervals. For reassurance purposes for those whom travel, my vehicle is air-conditioned with crates and a removed bulkhead to allow necessary cool air flow around the van to keep the dogs comfortable. Cool mats are also provided in the crates, alongside a bowl of water at all times (all-year-round).

》The safety & health of your dogs are always at the forefront of what I do and if a walk is deemed too risky in any way, it will NOT go ahead. It simply is not worth the risk.

I will be in touch very soon with all of my clients this week whom this will affect and agree any alternative arrangements needed

Here’s a brief breakdown of how Top of the Pack Cheshire run things at HQ ✨

🕥 Opening Hours for daycare are 7:30am-6pm, if you require earlier drop off or late collection, there are separate charges added to the daycare fee.
•
💰Our payment terms are simple, for dog training and dog walking we run a payment upon booking system. Your dates will go into the calendar as confirmed once payment is received.
For Home Boarding, there is a deposit due to secure your dates in the diary, then final balance is due in full 7 days before your first day of boarding. No deposit, no dates booked in the diary.
Daycare payments are due the Sunday before the start of each week.
