Hey! I have had quite a lot of new clients/followers at the moment so I thought I would reintroduce myself.
Im Abbie the face behind the Natural Dog Groomer🙌
I am 24 years old and it goes without saying I am crazy for dogs!
I am a proud owner of 3 XL bullies , they are my absolute world. I have also fostered and rehomed dogs who have been mistreated- the brindle dog in the collage was Evie, a one year old Bully left dumped at a bus station. She was a challenge but I taught her how to live in a loving environment and now lives on a farm living her best life!
I studied animal care in college and hold a level 3 diploma in Animal management. Here my love for animals grew and I worked on a working farm/zoo with all kind of cool animals like meerkats , coatis and eagle owls❤️ I have also kept reptiles and worked in a specialist exotic shop! So it’s not only dogs I love🙈 If I had the space i would have a mini zoo at home.
I then went on to Uni with every intention of being a vet... I got my degree- I have a BSC (hons) in Bioveterinary science. So im great with a microscope and diagnostics🙈😆 but this wasn’t for me ..... I much prefer pampering dogs than seeing the side of them in pain.
My grooming journey started at 17 bathing. And despite trying numerous jobs I always went back to it. Now I have my own business at 24! I also worked as a dog handler and trainer for the top handler/breeder for Alaskan Malamutes and British bulldogs - so it’s safe to say I am familiar with every breed. I have worked with dogs for over 7 years now and I am also dog behaviour and first aid qualified.
I promise theres more to me than just dogs .. 🙈 In my spare time i love swimming and anything outside that involves nature!!❤️
