Short, Bark & Sides has been operating in Urmston for over 3 years now 🤩
To think where I started when I moved here, just a one man team in a big shop, new area, new clients, new rent to pay.
And I couldn’t be prouder of what I have built here 👏
I now have An unbelievably hard working team of girls, who have a passion for their work just as much as I do, we have developed a strong bond between us and a mutual understanding of what hard work and achievement means.
I want to thank everyone who has stuck with me through my dog grooming journey, plenty more to come for short bark & sides, Let’s see what the future holds, turning dreams into reality with my incredible team 🤞🏼🐾 🩵 ✨

Lelo! 💫
She’s an older lady that comes to us for her grooming requirements.
We’ve had lelo with us for a number of years now!
She’s unfortunately blind but sniffs her way around the salon like it’s nobody’s business😆

Closed Thursday 25th June due to temperatures being way over 30 degrees in the salon 🥵 Thank you see you all soon and please keep your dogs cool and comfortable they dont regulate their body temperature like we do so the heat can effect the organs in serves cases 🙏 🧊 your pooches health is our main priority and even travelling to and from the groom is just not worth the risk 🩵 back open Friday when temperatures have dropped slightly but will be closing earlier than usual. Lelo 🐾🩵
Lelo is back! We hadn’t seen this handsome boy for a couple of years after his pawrents moved out of the area, so it was wonderful to welcome him back to the salon.
It was a pleasure to give him a fresh groom and have him looking his best again. He arrived looking a little shaggy, but left feeling clean, refreshed, and revitalised.
We’re so happy to have you back, Lelo! ☺️
