Breaking news from the Department of Household Shenanigans: HR Stan, our CH (wobbly cat syndrome) and part‑time interpretive dancer, has successfully “climbed” the cat tree.

And by “climbed,” I mean he launched a full‑body wiggle, performed a sideways moonwalk, attempted a reverse‑gear somersault, and then somehow teleported to the top through sheer determination and questionable physics.

Living with a CH cat is like living with a tiny, adorable employee who’s permanently on his first day of training. HR Stan does everything with the enthusiasm of someone who has never once read the instructions. He’s sideways. He’s backwards. He’s upside‑down. He’s reinventing gravity daily.

Meanwhile, CEO Arnie is watching from below with the expression of a man who has just discovered his company’s entire budget was spent on snacks and chaos.

You can practically hear him muttering:
“This is not what I signed off on.”

If Arnie had a suggestion box, it would contain one note:
“Please trade HR Stan in for a model that doesn’t wobble into my meetings.”

But HR Stan? He’s perfect. He’s determined. He’s inspirational. He’s shaped like a question mark and moves like a shopping trolley with one dodgy wheel.

And today, he conquered the cat tree.

CEO Arnie: filing a complaint with upper management (Boss Lady).

📣 Official Summer Update from Arnie (CEO) & Stan (HR)

Arnie: “We are now accepting summer cat‑sitting bookings. I made this decision because I’m the CEO and therefore the most important.”
Stan: “Incorrect. HR should make all decisions. Also, you slept through the meeting.”
Arnie: “It was a strategic nap.”
Stan: “You drooled on the agenda.”

Anyway — our human is available for cat sitting and small‑pet care this summer.
Dogs remain banned after Stan filed a report titled ‘Too Much Barking, Not Enough Boundaries’.

Message our human to book before Arnie schedules another meeting that’s actually just him sitting on the laptop.

✨ VIP Cats of the Week: Bear & Sox ✨

Our 10‑day adventure is nearly up, as their human is back tomorrow — and I swear these two know it.

Sox has fully embraced her role as sunbed queen, claiming every warm patch of light like she’s on an all‑inclusive holiday. Meanwhile, Bear has decided it’s now perfectly acceptable to lick my leg as a form of greeting… or ownership. Hard to tell with him.

This morning they were both extra fussy, sticking close like we’re having a dramatic farewell tour. Honestly, I’m going to miss these two VIPs — they’ve been the sweetest, funniest little companions.

🐾 Bear & Sox: The V.I.P (Very Important Purr-sonalities) Weekly Report 🐾

This week I am officially employed as full‑time servant to Bear and Sox. Due to the heat, I’m visiting four times a day, which is exactly the number of times they expect snacks, attention, and applause for simply existing.

With their owners’ permission, they’ve had a few treats… and by “a few” I mean Bear now thinks I’m a vending machine and Sox is planning to adopt me.

Household duties completed:
🗑️ Bins out (Bear supervised)
🌿 Garden checked (Sox judged my technique)
🌻 Planted two sunflowers for their human brother — they will absolutely take credit for this when the family gets home

These two are living like royalty, and I’m just honoured to be their humble butler.

A little medical situation popped up with one of my cats yesterday. I noticed they weren’t themselves, so I stepped in quickly and they’re now recovering nicely.
My nerves are a bit frayed today, but the important thing is that the kitty is doing much better. ❤️

When the sun comes out, our cats turn into three things:

Professional sunbathers

Expert shade detectives

Dramatic puddles of fluff

But even the sassiest kitty needs help staying cool in the heat.

Here’s how to keep your feline royalty comfy:

Chilled water stations — Because your cat deserves a refreshing drink at all times, preferably served like they’re at a tiny spa.

Cool hidey‑holes — Cardboard boxes in the shade? Instant luxury suite.

Ice treats — Freeze a bit of tuna water or chicken broth for a kitty popsicle. Yes, they will judge you… then love it.

Grooming sessions — Help them ditch that extra fluff so they don’t melt into the carpet.

Sun‑safe lounging — Pale‑nosed kitties especially need protection from the midday blaze.

If you’re heading out, I’ll make sure your furry friend stays cool, hydrated, and adored — even if they pretend they don’t need me.
