This cheeky chap is Bilbo 💗.
Today he was in for castration at our Stansted branch. He was in and out of surgery in no time and off home to recover with mum and dad 🥰.
He was such a good boy .. even though he tried to eat the nurses lunch 🙈

Puppies !! 🥰🥰
These eight adorable Rottweiler puppies came into our Stansted branch for their first vaccinations and microchips. Our Vet Julia and the nurses enjoyed giving them lots of fuss and cuddles ❤️.
We’re sure they will be causing lots of mischief soon in their new homes 🙈🙈.

Patti 💕
This gorgeous girl was in for her laparoscopic spay performed by our vet Luis at our Saffron Walden Hospital. She enjoyed lots of fuss and cuddles especially from our nurse Jemma 🥰.
The laparoscopic "keyhole" spay is associated with a quicker recovery than traditional spays. Meaning, your pet can get back to normal life much quicker. 🐶

🐾Willow’s Success Story🐾
This is Willow, a beautiful Siamese who had been battling chronic diarrhoea for over five long years . After trialing various treatments at different vets nothing worked for her.
5 weeks ago, one of our medics Erica carried out a faecal microbiota transplant (FMT) on Willow.
Since then, she has been having solid poos for the first time in year !! - an incredible change that has given her so much more comfort and quality of life.
Erica is now running our faecal transplant treatment program, giving pets like Willow her quality of life back.
💙We couldn’t be happier to see Willow thriving and we’re so proud to be part of her journey. 💙
💕A message from willows mum,
5 weeks ago Willow suddenly became extremely poorly, she was transferred to Mercer and Hughes for hospitalisation and supportive care… I was preparing for the worst possible news. Once stabilised, we were offered the chance of a faecal transplant. Expecting very little improvement as I’d exhausted every avenue to help Willow but thought anything was better than nothing.
72 hours later after her very quick and simple procedure Willow started to thrive and continues to do 5 weeks on. Her weight is going up week by week and she has no more signs of discomfort. The diarrhoea has stopped completely and her former energy has returned.
It’s hard to understand the relief and joy I feel at seeing Willow return to the cat she was five years ago. I am so grateful to the team for offering us this chance. 💕

Feline Panleukopenia Virus Alert- Recent UK outbreaks
We want to make our clients aware of recent confirmed outbreaks of FPV in Birmingham and Manchester. While these areas are currently affected, FPV is highly contagious, capable of spreading via clothing and footwear, or vehicles which means outbreaks could potentially appear anywhere in the UK.
What is FPV?
This is a serious and potentially life-threatening viral disease in cats. Symptoms may include-
•vomiting and diarrhoea
•fever
•abdominal pain
•lethargy
Kittens infected before birth or at a very young age may show neurological signs such as wobbliness or poor coordination.
How can you protect your cat?
The FPV vaccine is highly effective, and vaccinated cats are very unlikely to become unwell. However, any unvaccinated cats or those not vaccinated in the past 3 years are at risk and should be vaccinated as soon as possible.
If you are unsure of your cats vaccination status, or you would like to book in for a booster, please give us a call at your local branch.
