⚠️Urgent Warning for Pet Owners⚠️
The UK Government has issued an alert about counterfeit Frontline Plus flea treatments being sold by online retailers. These fake products have been found to contain chemicals toxic to cats, potentially causing vomiting, seizures, and other serious neurological signs.
If you’ve purchased flea treatments online recently, check the source and packaging carefully. We strongly recommend you only buy your pet’s treatments directly through your vet or a licensed pharmacy.
For more details, please see the official warning from the UK Government:
Pet owners urged to be wary of dangerous fake treatments discovered on e-commerce sites.

🐰 It's Day 5 of Rabbit Awareness Week:
Happy Hoppy Homes! 🏠🐰
Housing affects happiness! Raystede research has shown that enriched environments with tunnels, platforms, and hiding places significantly reduce stress behaviours in rabbits. A stimulating environment allows rabbits to dig, forage, and explore as they would in the wild.
If you're coming in over the next week or two for an appointment with your bunny, don't forget to ask for one of our little goodie bags!
🐰 Bronwyn and Pippin would like to wish you all a Hoppy Weekend!

🐰 It's Day 3 of Rabbit Awareness Week:
Happy Hoppy Homes! 🏠🐰
Weather-ready? Woodgreen emphasises that outdoor rabbit housing must protect from temperature extremes, with proper insulation for winter and shade/ventilation for summer. In hot weather, temperatures above 24°C (75°F) can cause heat stress in rabbits.
🐰 Ensure outdoor enclosures are in the shade. Parasols and blankets can help provide shade on runs.
🐰 For indoor set ups, close curtains and blinds to help keep the room cool.
🐰 Frozen water bottles and ice blocks can be wrapped in a thin towel for somewhere nice and cool for your bunnies to rest up against.
🐰 Don't forget to keep water bottles and bowls topped up and refreshed at least twice a day.

🐰 It's Day 3 of Rabbit Awareness Week:
Happy Hoppy Homes! 🏠🐰
Environment affects health! According to Blue Cross, rabbits in cramped, barren housing are more likely to develop both physical issues (spinal problems, pododermatitis) and behavioural problems (aggression, over-grooming). A stimulating home with proper space helps prevent these conditions!
🐰 Low platforms and tunnels are great for your rabbits. Providing at least one hide per rabbit with two exits are also handy to provide safe spaces for them.
🐰 To encourage natural behaviours forage boxes and dig boxes are highly recommended!
🐰 Puzzle feeders are also a great way to provide mental stimulation - check out a small selection of Bronwyn and Pippin's favourites below!

Happy Hoppy Homes! 🏠🐰
Did you know? Rabbit's need a minimum area of 3m x 2m x 1m for a pair of rabbits to ensure they can express natural behaviours. Yet many pet rabbits live in spaces that are far too small for their physical and emotional needs.
