We are excited to announce that we are on the move! We are thrilled to announce we are now finally purchasing a forever and permanent home for The Max & George Trust and after 2 years of living in a state of limbo we can finally put down some proper roots.

For the last 2 years we have been in rented, temporary accommodation which is incredibly stressful, unstable and full of uncertainty with no guarantees that landlords will honour commitments or renew leases.

So you can imagine our excitement and delight at finally finding somewhere suitable to relocate to that matches our needs with enough land to build our doggy village and adoption zones where dogs will get to live in little houses with gardens enabling us to get them ready for their future forever home life.

For the time being we are keeping our "final destination" a secret so as not to tempt fate, because believe it or not over the past 3 years we have tried to purchase 3 other properties and for one reason or another the sale has always fallen through.

As we most certainly know, moving is expensive and moving a dog rescue is even more expensive as we need to hire vans, organise and pay for storage, purchase roofing felt, materials and so much more. We need to install water, electrics and all the usual foundation building costs. We estimate the costs to be in the region of £25 - £30k (sadly we know this from experience)

And in even more exciting news, having finally found our forever home we will now be able to progress our much coveted charity registration status.

It is finally OUR time to be able to move forwards and build the best dog rescue and rehabilitation centre possible serving our local community and of course the dogs in need.
