Happy hounds was formed in Jan 2016 by me (Liz). I have always been passionate about Dogs. I LOVE Happy Hounds and All of the Pack members! My earliest memory is being lifted over the neighbours fence aged 3 or 4 so I could play with her Dog! During my younger years I was working with Dogs- Showing, Breeding, Grooming, Boarding and Rescuing. 1983 saw me working with Lesley Scott-Ordish - Founder of Pro-Dogs. I was then privileged to be a part of the new Therapeutic Scheme P.A.T Dogs - my own Wolfhound becoming the 3rd registered PAT Dog and an Ambassador for the scheme appearing on many TV shows such as That’s Life and Blue Peter. My Wolfie was also the very first Model for Dr Roger Mugford’s famous Halti. Another Name drop is Ralph Steadman! He came along to my humble abode to draw my Dogs ( not very complimentary pics though!! :-D). Happy Hounds is able to offer Walks, Socialisation Sessions, Day Care, Holidays, Drop In’s...etc.... Currently I am completing a Canine Behaviourist Degree Course which will enable me to advertise my passion of helping/re-rehabilitating/socialising/Training...Dudes who have issues(as well as helping the uncertain/non-confident Owner).
