From weddings to walkies, we bring years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all shapes and sizes, including rescues, nervous pups, and those with special routines. I’m proud to be:

☀️ HOT WEATHER WARNING FOR DOG OWNERS ☀️

Please remember… no dog has ever died from missing a walk, but dogs sadly do die from heatstroke.

If it feels hot to you, it feels even hotter to them. Pavements can burn paws in seconds and even a short walk in warm temperatures can quickly become dangerous.

🐾 Walk early morning or late evening (Before 8am and After 8pm)
🐾 Stick to shaded areas
🐾 Always carry water
🐾 Avoid hot pavements and artificial grass
🐾 Watch for excessive panting, drooling, lethargy or wobbling
🐾 Never leave dogs in cars, even for a few minutes

Your dog would much rather stay safe at home with enrichment, sniff games, frozen treats and cuddles than risk becoming seriously ill.

Please be sensible during this heatwave and put your dog’s safety first ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our very first Canine First Aid Course yesterday 🐾

We’re so proud to say that everyone passed and we’ve already received some absolutely fantastic feedback 😊

It was lovely to see so many local dog owners and pet professionals giving up their Sunday to learn skills that could genuinely help save a dog’s life one day.

The course covered:
🐾 Canine CPR and emergency response
🐾 Choking and airway emergencies
🐾 Common injuries and illnesses
🐾 Preventative care
🐾 Hands-on practical learning

A massive thank you to Kerry from Pet Owners & Pet Professionals Animal First Aid Courses for delivering such an engaging, informative and relaxed course throughout the day.

We’re also incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us in organising and promoting the event locally. The response from our community has honestly been amazing ❤️

As dog owners, we all hope we never face an emergency… but would you know what to do if your dog:

🐾 Collapsed suddenly on a walk?
🐾 Cut their paw badly?
🐾 Suffered heatstroke?
🐾 Needed CPR before reaching a vet?

This fantastic CPD Certified course is designed to give both pet owners and pet professionals the skills and confidence to respond calmly and effectively in an emergency.

Delivered by a qualified veterinary nurse, the course includes:

✔ Recognising and treating common injuries
✔ Preventative care and early warning signs
✔ Hands-on practical learning
✔ CPD Certification

Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake included ☕🍰

We’ve had such an amazing response from the local community already and are so excited to bring this important training to the area 🐾
