Meet the team:



Not many people realise just how many hands it takes to run a dog training club, both on and behind the scenes. Even less realise that it is done on a purely voluntary basis. These include:

Training venue - we train at the old Monotype Bowls Club in Salfords, near Redhill. Classes are outdoors on the bowls lawn with room to run several classes at the same time. There is ample parking. Refreshments and toilets are available in the adjacent Monotype - Perrywood Sports & Social club house. We ask you do not attend if your dog is in season, or has an infectious illness, or you have COVID - 19 symptoms. We keep a register of those attending classes. We a run a shop selling a range of essential items such as collars, leads, dog toys and treats.

BAGSD Southern Area Interbranch 13/07/25
What a great day it was, yes it was hot and sunny but we had lots of shade underneath the trees and paddling pools for the dogs.
Our branch members did us proud & won the competition.
We would like to say a huge Thank You to all our Judges and ring stewards.
Team event judges:
Pre Beginners - Jenny Harknett & Teresa Paterson.
Beginners - Debbie Lammin & Denise McMahon.
Novice - Denise Fry & Rachel Chapman.
We also held an individual class for those that were 'dipping their toe & paws in the water' which was judged by Eunice Pearson & Christine Kennard.
A training ring was run by Vicki Mendy.
Thank you to Camberley & Reading Branches for competing in our first time at hosting the event.
Our thanks also goes to Mark & Lisa of Perrywood Sports & Social Club for enabling us to hold our event on the club grounds & opening the kitchen & bar for the day.

TRAINING/CLASS INFO for the next two weeks.

Easter Saturday - Training will run as normal. The club house will be shut so unfortunately their facilities will not be available.

Weekend of 26th and 27th - Please note training will run at normal times but on SUNDAY 27th.

This is due to Sandra being Chief Steward and several of our instructors will be helping and competing at the BAGDS Oxhey Championship Show in Hertfordshire.

They are holding KCGCDS Special Pre-Beginner Stakes. The class is based on the Bronze Award - you have to have passed the Bronze to enter.
Lovely friendly & supportive judge and the steward is quite nice too! (Rachel).
