Now realistically we'll all be doing a raindance every day from now until 2nd January but.. if that doesn't work then let's all be as prepared as we possibly can be for the yearly displays of colourful explosions that serve 0 purpose 🫣

‼️ please ensure your dog's microchip registration is up to date just incase of emergency.

Cricket update
So Cricket had a wee op a couple of weeks ago to remove a wee lump in his bum. The vet was 99% sure it was just a non-cancerous benign lump but the lab results have now said otherwise 😥

He needs further treatment, we didn't get it all. So he's now going to a different vet (further from foster home but we get a discount there) and we will know more after he's had a scan.

Cricket is not unwell and he is none the wiser, still full of beans and very friendly and affectionate ❤️

Now, from bad news to worse. We are SKINT. We have been totally cleaned out in the last couple of years by massive vet bills for Fraggle, Zebedee, Thumper, Katy, Cricket and Fred. And I'm talking 5 grand each on average. We get dogs well and ready for adoption but we don't get the donations to cover it anymore.

We've already spent £2053.51 on the lump removal and biopsy. We haven't caught up yet after Fred's £1353 bill and have also paid 2 x £100 librela injections to manage his pain.

We really need help please 🙏

If we can raise £5k, we can comfortably care for the dogs we have right now. If we can raise £10k we can be back in the position of being able to give a lifeline to dogs like Fred but at the moment it would be irresponsible to take on anymore dogs so we need to prioritise the dogs that we have already committed to.

A family of her own. Pippy is very human oriented and loves everyone. She does not like other dogs so must be homed as an only dog and wears a muzzle outside as she likes to tell them she doesn't like them too.

Pippy is learning how to behave differently on walks.

Pippy was brought over from Romania 6 years ago by another rescue that has closed and wasn't a safe place anyway (which is why it was closed). However she was lucky enough to have a family that loved her despite being unable to keep her themselves due to ill health. They kept trying to find a rescue to help her and didn't give up!
