It's a busy day ahead tomorrow with Kate Smith coaching Dressage with a lot of our lovely liveries from 730am. Kate will be up with the larks and our fabulous arena is ready for her with a fresh harrow this evening.

It's usually done everyday first thing and watered twice a week to keep it in top condition.

We are ready for action.

Mario looking lovingly at our beautiful private hacking on the Estate. We all can't wait to be back over there when it's dry. It's also where we hold our annual Farley Hall Horse Trials.

In 2024, we won the British Eventing Official Award for the Event Of The Year (South East). Our plaque is proudly displayed above the doors to our Club House 🥇

It was a busy weekend for our lovely clients and their horses. Louise took her lovely Mare, Red, to Wellington Riding where she did the 90cm and 100cm. Red was fantastic and did not bat an eyelid at any fences. Our Assistant Yard Manager, Jemma and her beautiful Mare, Pea, went to Oakingham Stud for the first time. She did a beautiful round after 6 weeks out of the ring. Maddie also went there with her lovely big boy Trevor, who has now returned to his former glory after an unplanned break. Here is Maddie and Trevor in action. 🦄 Go Team Farley!

Storm Eowyn rain will not beat Team Farley! This week our Grounds Team have been preparing our fields for rotation with brand new fencing and maintenance.

Our beautiful indoor arena is always in top notch condition to escape the winds.

In between the rain our outdoor arena is treasured. Today, our wonderful Livery Bruce and his owner Sue are enjoying the fantastic surface. Bruce is looking in fine fettle. A yard favourite, he is 20 years young and a true “Ginger Ninja”. He has competed at Prix St. Georges and still does one-time changes with ease and Piaffe on demand!

Hello.

On Sunday the 19th there will be a clinic being held here at Farley. Please see some details below and get in touch if you wish to attend.

The Howden Way Thoroughbred Aftercare programme (TAP) offers subsidised training sessions throughout the country for anyone with a thoroughbred. TAP aims to support the transition of ex-racehorses into their new careers post racing, by providing supportive, fun and educational training sessions. The TAP training at Farley Hall Equestrian is delivered by Carl Belson, a UKCC level 3 coach within British Eventing, having a specialism for working with thoroughbreds.

All thoroughbreds are eligible to attend the training which covers all levels, from those taking their first steps on the re-training journey through to those further along this process.
The Howden Way Thoroughbred Aftercare programme provides further support and guidance with a range of extensive online resources to support anyone taking on an ex-racehorse. Please see the website for more information –

The Howden Way offers three core programmes; the Rider Talent Academy and Young Horse Academy which supports British Eventing members.

Due to Full time staff needing to take annual leave before the end of March, I'm looking for two more freelancers to help cover between now and beginning of April.
This could turn into something more permanent due to the business expanding.
