Join us wishing Charlotte the best of luck as she starts her Veterinary Nurse training today!

You may have seen Charlotte on reception, or helping with your pets in practice. She is one of our Veterinary Care Assistants, and today embarks on her new role as a Student Veterinary Nurse!

Charlotte will be going to one day a week to complete her Veterinary Nurse diploma, which takes around 2.5 years. The rest of the week, you will find her at Lower Earley practicing her skills.

We’re all excited to see her grow into a fabulous Veterinary Nurse 👩‍⚕️ 🩺 🐾

With the long weekend approaching, Jazmin is here to show us some Easter treats that are toxic and non-toxic to our pets!

Items that are toxic include: chocolate, 🍫 hot cross buns, sweets,🍭 bulb plants 🌱 (such as tulips and daffodils) and onions 🧅 . If you are concerned your pet has eaten something toxic, please call us as soon as possible for advice. 🩺🐾

Our vets , nurses and even receptionists do a range of things ranging from dental work , taking and running blood samples to answering the phone and A-LOT of cleaning 🧼 📞

Not all days are easy but our staff here at Medivet always strive to give exceptional care 🐾🩷

Has now been reunited with owner ☺️

**** STRAY DOG ****

Is anyone missing their dog? He is an entire male, bichon frise, just over 1yr old. Found along Northcourt Avenue, Reading.

Please share in hope we can reunite this little man with his owners. If you know any information, please let us know.
