Missing
Lottie has been missing since lunchtime Saturday 21st march. This is out of character. She is micro-chipped, but does not wear a collar. She is timid, and I think she has got herself locked in a shed or garage as she normally gets home for food early evening. Please check your outbuildings in Cross Road/Verne Road area. Still missing. I guess by now she could be anywhere in Weymouth. If you see her please ring 07903939545

Hi all. We are starting to ask our lovely customers if they can possibly pay with cash when they pick up their cats/small pets at the end of their stay at Netherfield. We will write down the amount for you when you drop your pets off with us.

We are desperately trying to keep our prices down, which includes ALL normal food - wet and dry, heating, lighting, special cleaning products, washing (sometimes up to 6 loads per day!) plus paying our wonderful staff. As we all know, most things are going up in price and we are not prepared to compromise on our 5 star rating and services we give.

Small businesses often prefer cash payments because they eliminate card processing fees, provide immediate access to funds (improving cash flow), and avoid reliance on technology that can go wrong at crucial times!

Here are the key reasons a small business like ours, may prefer to be paid in cash:
Avoid Transaction Fees - Card payment processors charge fees for every transaction, which can range from 1-4% of the sale amount. For small transactions with already tight profit margins, these fees can significantly reduce a business's profit.

Immediate Cash Flow - Cash is received instantly, unlike card payments which can take a few hours or even days to settle in a business's bank account. This immediate access to funds helps cover daily expenses like paying suppliers or staff.

No dependency on technology - Cash transactions don't require card machines, internet connectivity, or power. This provides a reliable backup payment method during technical outages or power cuts.

Privacy and Security - Cash transactions offer a higher level of privacy for both the customer and the business, as personal spending data is not tracked by third parties.

Important Note on Tax: All our income, whether from cash or card payments, are reported to tax authorities through our accountant!

Thank you for understanding!🥰😻😽

Aw....any takers? 🥰

Do you have room for two? 🐱

Introducing Max, who is an 8-year-old American Curl, and his best friend, Cotton, who is a 5-year-old Ragdoll cross.

Max & Cotton are a very sweet and sociable pair who are looking for a forever home together.

They have always been indoor cats, so they would love to find a home where they can experience the same again, and where they'll be the only pets.

We believe they'd be best suited to a home with adults and teenagers, who will be happy to keep up with their regular brushing routine and will be around for most of the day.

📍 Max & Cotton are being cared for at our Wingletang centre in Devon.

If you could offer a loving home to this gorgeous pair, then we'd love to hear from you!

Please visit our website here 👉 www.margaretgreenanimalrescue.org.uk/cats/55970/ to find out more and submit an application.

Aw look at them all! Please share to help them find loving homes❤️
