✨️️💙The Vale Show 2026 ✨️💙
It was a pleasure, once again, to have members of Talygarn Equestrian Club representing us at the Vale Show.
They volunteered all day in the showjumping ring, picking up poles on what was an incredibly hot day. They had their eye on the ball from start to finish and didn’t need prompting once. If a fence came down, they were straight there. They helped with every course change and, at the end of the day, stayed behind to help pack away every single jump without persuasion.
The jumps were heavy and although aesthetically pleasing, not that easy to carry! 💪🏼 The heat was intense, the work was hard, and yet they were there right until the very end, getting stuck in.
They showed themselves to be polite, enthusiastic, hard working and responsible, and I couldn't have asked for a better representation of our club.
It was also so lovely to see them interacting with Henry, who I can feel sure is set to grow up with plenty of positive role models around him. 🥰
In return for all their hard work, they also got the opportunity to watch some of the best local and national showjumpers up close, seeing top-level sport from front row seats in the jumping ring. 🏆🐎 What a fantastic experience and hopefully some inspiration for their own riding!
