🐴 FULL-TIME EQUINE TRAINING PLACEMENT 🐴
📍 Talygarn Equestrian Centre
We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term training placement starting at the end of August.
This opportunity would suit school leavers or those looking to begin a career within the equine industry whilst gaining valuable practical experience in a busy professional equestrian centre.
🏡 About us
Talygarn Equestrian Centre is a family-run yard with over 30 years of experience teaching riders of all ages and abilities. We are home to over 20 riding school horses and ponies alongside competition and vaulting horses, and run regular lessons, activities, events, and competitions throughout the year.
✨ What the placement includes:
• Daily horse care and stable management
• Feeding, grooming, mucking out, turnout, and tacking up
• Training in clipping, lunging, fitness work, and yard routines
• Opportunities for ridden training and competition experience for capable riders
• Experience assisting with customer care, events, and yard organisation
• Support and guidance towards BHS assessments and career development
🔹 We are looking for someone who is:
• Aged 16+
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
• Confident handling horses
• Hardworking with a positive attitude
• Keen to develop their knowledge and practical skills
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a supportive and experienced team environment.
