🌡️ Hot Weather Notice – Please Read 🐶

With temperatures expected to reach around 30°C on Tuesday, I just want to let all my lovely clients know that the salon becomes extremely hot during this kind of weather. As much as I always try my best to accommodate everyone, the safety and wellbeing of the dogs must come first. ❤️

Unless it is an emergency groom and your dog is really struggling, I may need to move appointments to:
🐾 earlier or later cooler times of the day
🐾 or reschedule to another day altogether

Please also consider that walking dogs to appointments in this heat is not safe or comfortable for them either, especially on hot pavements. Even short walks in these temperatures can be hard work for dogs and increase the risk of overheating.

Dogs can also become stressed, uncomfortable, and grumpy when they are too hot, which can make grooming more difficult and upsetting for them. I would never want to put any dog at risk or through unnecessary stress.

Thank you all for your understanding and patience during the hot weather. I’ll contact anyone affected directly to rearrange appointments as fairly as possible. ☀️🐶

Please remember:
💧 keep fresh water available
🌳 avoid midday walks
🚗 never leave dogs in cars
❄️ keep them cool and comfortable

Buster is happy to say he approves of the new shampoo range we’re using at the salon (not that he looks very happy he really is )🙈🐾

We now have different shampoos to suit different coat types, plus gentle options for dogs with sensitive skin or allergies.

Hi everyone, just a quick but important update 🐾

Firstly, Freyja has now been accepted into Flying Start nursery and will be attending every afternoon 🎉 This has come through at quite short notice, (email yesterday) so I may need to adjust a few appointments to fit around drop-offs and pick-ups. Please bear with me while I get into a new routine!

If I haven’t already contacted you regarding tomorrow’s bookings, could you please message me to confirm 🙏

Secondly, I’m really sorry for being quiet over the past couple of weeks. I’ve been taking some time off to be with the kids during the holidays, and on top of that my phone has been playing up. I’ve got a new one arriving this week (hopefully Thursday 🤞), but for now WhatsApp is very hit and miss. If you don’t get a reply, please message me via Facebook Messenger as that’s working on my laptop/iPad.

I completely understand it can be frustrating waiting for a reply when you’re trying to book your dogs in, but during school holidays I am spending time with my children. I will always get back to you—please just send one message with the dates you’d like, and I’ll respond as soon as I can. Calling repeatedly won’t speed things up, unfortunately!

Most of my regular customers know I have three children (two under 5), and I do make this clear to new clients when they join the AcePamperPaws family 🐶💕

Lastly, my books are now closed to new customers as I’m at full capacity. Anyone who has already messaged—don’t worry, you’re absolutely fine and I’ll get you booked in.
