⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDER – PLEASE DO NOT ENTER AN OCCUPIED FIELD ⚠️
Can we please remind everyone that under no circumstances should you enter a field while someone else is using it, regardless of the reason.
Yesterday, someone who had accidentally left their leads behind after an earlier session returned and entered the field to retrieve them.
Fortunately, I was in the field with my own dog, who thankfully isn't reactive. However, had this been someone with a reactive, nervous or potentially aggressive dog, the situation could have been very different.
I was at the opposite end of the field and wasn't able to get to the person quickly enough to explain the safety concerns. Unfortunately, I also don't know who they were.
If you have forgotten something in the field, please DO NOT enter to retrieve it.
Instead, please try to get the attention of the person currently using the field and ask if they would be happy to pass your belongings to you.
Alternatively, please call me, and I will contact the person using the field to arrange for your items to be returned safely.
🚫 AT NO POINT SHOULD YOU ENTER A FIELD THAT IS ALREADY OCCUPIED.
People book these fields because they need a safe, secure and private space to exercise their dogs. For some, having another person unexpectedly enter the field could create a very dangerous situation.
This rule is in place for everyone's safety, and it is absolutely essential that it is respected at all times.
