**UPDATE - reunited with owner- thank you for sharing!

We have a border collie called Maisey brought in to the practice this afternoon She was found wandering on the beach at Longrock.
Please call us on 01736 330331 as soon as possible if you are or know the owner. We would love to reunite Maisey with her owners before closing. If we are unable to make contact, she will be referred to the dog warden for ongoing care.

With the opening of our second site, Mounts Bay Vets is seeking additional experience and capacity. Are you a strong GP vet looking for a job in Cornwall? We would also welcome anyone wanting to develop or sustain special interests (particularly surgery/orthopaedics/ imaging) to meet local demand for local treatment.

Based in Penzance, we are small enough to be a friendly team and to support continuity but large enough to offer interest, variety and professional challenge. We have a strong reputation for quality and affordability in our area and we’re looking for someone with over 5 years in practice, keen to take next steps into clinical and business management of a practice.

The role is flexible, up to four days for full time plus 1 in 4/5 Saturdays and some on-call. As an Employee Owned Trust, we have protected our future as an independent so there is real scope for the right candidate to significantly shape and develop the practice in a future management role – this is a great pathway to the benefits of a more traditional partner model but without the burden of capital investment.

Book in for your free of charge dental check up with one of our qualified nurses where we will assess your pets dental health and discuss ongoing routine dental care options with you for your pet.

Attached are some photos from a recent visit from a patient who underwent a routine dental descale and polish to remove the tartar and plaque that had built up on her teeth overtime. The removal of which deeply cleans teeth and acts as a preventative measure for further deterioration and decay of the teeth and helps to promote fresher breath making our pets kisses more enjoyable for us as owners!
