Making our horses and ponies happy and content is our first priority. Every single one is loved and carefully considered to ensure they have the right friends, routine and role. Some thrive in the riding school, others in Stable Lives work or like Bungle they might need something more exciting. The best yards are the ones who know their horses inside out and work to make them happy.

Such a good day today for our client competition. We were so proud of everyone who took part. Our horses and ponies were brilliant and our staff proved that they are doing an outstanding job at teaching people to ride and appreciate horses.

The standard in the dressage, jumping and handy pony was excellent. Well done everyone who took part 🙂

🌟COMING UP🌟

There a still a few spaces left on our sleepover next week.
19th-20th August.

10am arrive on the Wednesday, a day full of fun, games, pony care and riding.
Then pizza and movie night sleepover in our lovely yurt ⛺
Then on Thursday, learning the horses routine, helping with their breakfast and morning yard duties, more games and riding!
Pick up 3pm Thursday 20th August.

🌟SHOWS ON 14TH AND 31ST AUGUST.🌟

START TIMES🕐

DRESSAGE 10am.
We are allocating times for the dressage section.
Times will be messaged individually and also posted on Facebook.
Working in time 20 minutes before allocated dressage test time.
Presentation 12pm ISH

SHOW JUMPING CLEAR ROUND 12.30pm🏵
We are aiming to start Show Jumping at 12.30pm.
We are NOT allocating set times to jump.
You will have 10 mins warming up time and then go round the course of poles/jumps.
We will begin with poles on the floor and work upwards in height.

HANDY PONY 2pm 🦄
We are aiming to begin Handy Pony at 2pm.
We are NOT allocating set times for this.
Handy pony will be an in hand obstacle course with a pony.

🤩REMINDER!🤩

We have our PEC show days coming up soon, on the 14th and 31st August.

Come down for the day and have a go, no show experience is necessary, anyone can have a go!🐎

🌟DRESSAGE, we have a couple of different dressage tests you can have a go through, dressage tests can be called out, everyone will receive a feedback sheet with tips to work on for next time! Ask your instructor to practise on lessons leading up to it!🌟

🌟SHOW JUMPING, we will be working round a course of jumps, either in the field or in the outdoor school, no jumping experience is required! Can be poles on the ground to suit all levels, jumps for more experienced riders - rosettes for everyone! 🌟

🌟HANDY PONY, an obstacle course in hand leading the horses and ponies! Come and test your horse handling skills! Help required for those who would like it!🌟

Each class is £20, please pre book on if you would like to come

⭐️ For any current clients ages 11+ who would like to volunteer on the weekends, we are holding our helper training sessions on Tuesday 28th July and Tuesday 11th August, please WhatsApp to book on 😀
⭐️PONY STARS DAY, Tuesday 21st July 10-2pm
The day will be filled with fun and games, riding, pony care and quizzes
£55 for members, £60 for non members 📖

We are really excited to announce we will be holding two SHOW days!!
Friday 14th August AND Monday 31st August
Our shows will include -
A Dressage class - practise your test on your regular lessons, then come and work in and go through your test infront of our judge. Feedback sheet and rosettes included 🏅
A show jumping round - ranging from poles on the ground to show jumps of various sizes depending on ability, come and have a go a jumping around a course in the field 🐎
A handy pony class! - Come and have a go, test your handling skills, a bit like an obstacle course!
£20 per class - please WhatsApp to book on/express an interest 🤩
⭐️A BIG PONY SLEEPOVER
WEDNESDAY 19TH AUGUST
We are holding mini camp/sleepover on 19-20th August.
Children must be 10+ to attend and sleep over, over the two days will include pony care sessions, riding and games sessions, pizza and movie night!

For anyone that walks past watching Autumn being bathed all of the time! This is what she gets upto when not sporting a layer of filth!

Autumn becoming really established at be100 level. Clear xc last week at Eland Lodge and stormed round Bradwall yesterday with a clear show jumping and a minor green moment xc. Dressage starting to be fancy too 🙂

Pricks her ears, tries her best and picks her little feet up. Both of us enjoying ourselves. That is literally the only goal.

Celebrating our very clever staff and their horses tonight. Really proud of Megan on Bungle and Elie on Bertha who competed at the British Dressage Winter dressage championships. Elie and Bertha were very well placed in a tight section and Megan and Bungle did an amazing job to win their class 🙌
Particularly proud of Bungle as he came to us through the British Horse Society and the RSPCA (England & Wales) as a second chance rescue horse. Baileys Horse Feeds
