Throwback to Aston a few weeks ago 🏇🏻 A much more technical run with challenging weather conditions, but a lot learnt 💪🏻
Booked to run in our first 1* at Wellington in a few weeks - fingers crossed we can get there! 🤞🏻🫣

Paddy was such a good boy at Aston in the Novice 💙 It was one of those days where it was very nearly perfect - but not quite!
He warmed up absolutely incredibly in the dressage, best he has ever felt 🙌🏻 then unfortunately there was a 20 minute hold just before I was about to go in, and he just got a bit antsy and lost his focus so the test was not as smooth as it would have been 👎🏻
Then showjumping, he was going amazingly, really careful (which is a big effort for him!), but just lost his focus and balance on the last line spooking at the scary Le Mieux filler, so ended up jumping flat and awkward and got the last few poles down 😢
XC he was awesome as ever, I made a silly mistake coming into a skinny at number 5 🤦🏻‍♀️ the ground was quite churned up in front, so I tried to take a slightly different line, but I was looking down thinking ‘gently gently tip toe round the mud’ 😂 he is a horse that locks onto the jumps based on my body position pointing at it and my energy saying GO - I did neither so he just didn’t read it as a jump 🤦🏻‍♀️ He stormed round the rest of the course, jumping all the bigger more difficult things with ease and feels amazing!
Off to Swalcliffe in the Novice this weekend 🏇🏻

It’s been a while since I had some fun with this little furball, and as ever he didn’t disappoint! 🥰 We headed to the championships with a brilliant team from the . Phoenix was clear in the first and second rounds, we had a very quick time but just rolled a pole in the third round which cost us 3rd, but overall finished 14th/122 and helped the team to secure 10th 🙌🏻🏅
He’s jumping amazingly as ever in his Chibera O which suits his massive shoulders and short back 💚

Oxstalls 105 🏇🏻 Very proud of Paddy for leaving all the jumps up! He’s feeling happier than ever in his saddles and have had a massive breakthrough with his spinal mobility thanks to INDIBA 🙌🏻
We have some more show jumping practice this weekend at Cherwell BS jumping the 105 and 110 💪🏻

Paddy was very happy to be back out eventing in the 105 at a couple of weeks ago! 🏇🏻 Delayed pictures and reel with a few very busy weeks on the trot but I’ll get there 😅
A few weeks of jumping until we do our first Novice at Aston in May 🤩

Bicester Team Chase was such a great day out 😍 Paddy was of course in his element and led our awesome team clear to finish in a quick time.
The bigger hedges look like great fun so think we will have a go doing a bigger team chase after the end of the event season! 🏇🏻

Paddy jumped brilliantly around the 1.10 at Dallas Burston yesterday 💙 Just rubbed one pole, but overall he is jumping so much more carefully which is something we have worked continually towards with the unwavering help from 🙌🏻
We are all set to do our first run of the year this Sunday at Oxstalls in the BE105, then will be having a bit of fun in April with a team chase and hunter trial before having a go around some 1.15/1.20 BS tracks 🫣🤩

During the completion of her First Class Masters Degree, Elise undertook extensive research into all aspects of equine science, however has a keen interest in Equine biomechanics and the relationship between horse and rider asymmetries. With this knowledge and experience, Elise utilises practices specifically designed to promote equine and human welfare and is committed to ensuring all horses in her care receive the most ethical, yet effective care and management.
