All the charm, loads of talent and bred to be brilliant I truly believe he will just keep getting better and better. Will be a nice compact horse for someone 15.2-16.1h. Dressage Divas 🦄

A lovely trip out with Scout on Rio and Bini on Peter Pan today for some dressage. The girls and ponies were super and rosettes were achieved by all. How special to have soooo many friends come and support and spectate 🥰 a total dream team!

SO PROUD & SO PRIVILEGED

I don't only train showjumpers...

A few years ago I was approached and asked to help train the Mounted Police which I did at our home base.

A lovely guy turned up with very little riding experience but with plenty of focus and determination. He certainly thought some of my techniques and methods were unusual but I knew where he needed to get to and I wasn't about to let him down!

His assessor used to come and check on his development and typical me wanted to ensure they were nothing short of impressed by his progress ☺️

A few years on and enough time passed since such a monumental moment in history and I wanted to share this with you all.

The image to this post is the Queens funeral. Front and centre on the big grey is that lovely guy, Sergeant Astley of the Metropolitan Police.

He messaged me just recently saying "thank you for the beginning of my riding career" but really I would like to thank him for trusting me to be a part of it as it was an absolute privilege.

He finished his message saying "All thanks to you essentially" but my job is to help educate in the understanding of horses and the techniques that allow you to whisper to your horses, the attitude, approach and what you do with that is up to you and his success is all his own.

I actually don't think I have ever been prouder 🥹🙏🏼

This is what dreams are made of ✨

If I ever question why i do this. In the cold, wet never ending winter. At 4/5am most Sundays. When the kids are crying and the ponies aren't trying. When everyone tells me they can't do it and they never will...

THIS is why I keep going...FOR THE LOVE OF PONIES because no matter how hard it gets, we are all little girls that love ponies and I have the absolute PRIVILEGE to be involved in their journey and help make their pony dreams come true.

So to all of you, whether you own a pony, loan a pony, borrow a pony or get to ride a pony - however hard it gets, never forget that we love PONIES not ribbons. No one ever dreamt of winning a ribbon WITHOUT a pony...

💙💛 Pony Of the Year Show 2024 💙💛

A great show for the girls and the ponies. Our aim was to get used to the new(er) ones and start pushing to be a bit more competitive on the others and the girls delivered.

Clotilde & Fly had a super show, jumping loads of double clears, qualifying for both Grand Prix finals and finishing in the placings 🧡

Clotilde's new one, Gem was an absolute saint taking it all in her stride their relationship is developing and the rounds got better and better as the week went on, they even qualified for the Grand Prix final, though had a bit of a nasty fall on the last day, both pony and rider are all okay 🩶

Halo & Minna were going for it and although they were unlucky with a bit of 4fault-itus they jumped into the Grand Prix final and through to the jump off for a few poles after an exhausting week! 🤍

Nessie and Minna are going from strength to strength and it looks like it's really coming together for them. Some nice double clears, qualified for the Grand Prix final and now ready to rev up a bit in the jump offs 🤎

Yesterday they were all re clipped, shod and had plenty of field time, today they have massages and some more R&R before we all head off to Blue Chip on Friday...!

Cherwell yesterday for these two 👯 and another nice set of results with:
Halo =1st 🏆🥇
Nessie 4th 🏅
Fly 5th 🏅

Loads of improvement for both Minna & Nessie and Clotilde & Fly and Halo on a roll and keeping up her great form!

It was looking like a nice early finish until the lorry cut out on the slip road 😰 due to an air lock 😫 thank goodness for who came to my rescue 🙏🏼🦸

QUALIFIED & QUALIFIED AGAIN 🤩
We headed to Pickering Grange yesterday for the Blue Chip Discovery Championship qualifier and had a really good day all round 👏

It really was Minna's day and it all came together with all that hard work and determination falling into place. Jumping clear all day on Nessie and gaining that all important championship qualification ⭐️ Halo was already qualified but for some experience we put them in again and she re qualified, this time finishing in 2nd place 🥈 Amazing!

Percy and Amelia were back on top form and Fly and Clotilde are having fun and watching the results roll in again.

The first step towards success, is the decision to try.

So proud of this pony and of course, Amelia who is continuing to produce her exceptionally.

I'm not a believer in rushing young or inexperienced horses but when they love the job and have the strength and confidence in themselves, we can ask the questions.

Today Oreo jumped her 5th show, she already has all 4 BN double clears, is working towards her 4 discovery double clears and today had a very positive play around her first Newcomers 🌟

NOW AVAILABLE ❗️2022 filly by Silvester out of 16.2 Selle Frances mare that I used in my training centre, I trained riders on her (non competitively) to jump up to tracks of 1.20.
She (the mother) was incredibly brave and would have been an excellent eventer but was busy doing her training job. Unfortunately she had a tendon injury so I put her in foal. This filly is bold, calm, very nicely put together and well handled (headcollar on/off/ lead/ farrier). She happily lives out or in, in an open barn. She will be a big mare, 16.2+ I imagine. Born bay, will go grey.
