My name is Penny and I’m the founder of Penny's Paws dog walking and pet care service, covering Weldon, Weldon Park and Priors Hall. I live in Weldon with my partner, our four children and our small menagerie of pets! I’m a huge lover of the great outdoors and animals of all varieties. I’m passionate about nature and animal welfare - walking your beloved fur family gives me the opportunity to comb

ine these two passions. I am an ex-veterinary nurse with seven years’ experience, so rest assured your hounds and pooches are in safe hands! I offer hourly and half hourly walks, as well as a drop-in service where I call into your home, let your dog into your garden and replenish food and water as required. This service is also available for cats and other small pets should you wish for them to stay at home while you're away. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your specific dog walking requirements. I’ll come out and meet you and your dog(s) in the first instance and we can decide the best way forward from there.

It's being a really fun week this week at Penny's Paws !
Ragnar and Lagertha have their friends, Kevin and Keith come to stay. It's not often I get the opportunity to do a large-dog pack walk, so this has made for an exciting change! It hasn't taken Kevin and Keith long to pick up the Penny's Paws regime at all!! 🤣🤣 Thank you to My daughter, Poppy, for these fantastic group photos! I shall miss this cute boy, Benji! 🥰 He has been with me pretty much since the beginning of my Penny's Paws adventure! He is now taking a break due to new and exciting times ahead with his growing family! (Huge congratulations to you all!) 💗
Benji always made me smile. Many a time when I was doing my head count of the pack on my pack walks, I'd look around and think, "Where's Benji??" But always, and without fail he would be right by my side, down by my ankle, trotting along to heal (quite literally!!) wagging his little tail! (I find this the Cavapoo way!) Such a sweet boy! 🥰🥰 I must add a massive thank you for my beautiful flowers and thoughtful gift and card! - Benji's friends will enjoy the treats! I really do have the BEST customers! 😊💗🐾🐾

Oops! Slight error on my part, and potential hazard! I didn't know our visitor swans were back on our lake! Although, Ragnar is as soft as they come, and would never in a million years want to cause anybody any trouble, so I knew the swans were perfectly safe in his company. And the swans were clever enough to know not to mess with something bigger than them, but give a mighty warning hiss as deterrent!
So yes, people. In case you get a suprise like me. We have a pair of swans on our lake! 🦢🦢💗
