Access Reminder

Please note that the Middleton Lane entrance remains closed to vehicles. (Walk way still open).

👉 To access by car, please enter via Aston Square (SY11 4LR).
From there, continue down Middleton Lane for approx. 1.2 miles until you reach Pooch Park.

📍 Directions:
1️⃣ From the A5, take the Aston Square turning
2️⃣ Or travel via Whittington to Babbins Woods

Hi All,

This is an important reminder that Middleton Lane will be closed by the new housing estate (town end) from 15th September until 3rd October. However, the pedestrian walkway will always stay open.

During this period, please use an alternative route for cars to access Oswestry Pooch Park. Via cars - entry will be available via Aston Square (SY11 4LR), which will allow you to rejoin Middleton Lane and reach the park.

🐾 Pooch Park Reminder 🐾

Hi everyone! Over the past 48 hours, we’ve had to clean up multiple dog messes left behind in the park.

With school holidays around the corner, we’ll be welcoming more children and families to Pooch Park — so it’s more important than ever to keep the space clean and safe for everyone.

👉 Please be responsible and always pick up after your dog.
It’s not just about courtesy — it’s a health and safety requirement. 💩🚫

Morning all,

Just a friendly reminder to please keep a close eye on your dogs while using the dog park and to clean up after them.

Over the weekend, we received several messages from customers about uncollected dog mess in the area. This is not acceptable.

I’ll be doing a walkaround later this evening to check. Everyone using the park needs to be respectful and do their part to keep it clean and enjoyable for all.

**Stolen gates**

Please can all customers be mindful when visiting the park today and tomorrow when getting your dogs out the car. Someone has stolen our wooden gates last night. Very disappointing! Hopefully you'll be on our CCTV!

Dear Customers,

It has been brought to my attention the last two weeks that some customers are not picking up after their dogs mess. We have installed CCTV, so we will be checking it daily going forward. If you are caught not following our rules, it will result in a ban from Oswestry Pooch park.

Due to the grass growing, please be more mindful watching your dogs closely. There are poo bags available inside the park, by the entrance attached to the bin.

We pride ourself on a clean and tidy environment, which is respected.
