Pennine Pen Animal Rescue

Pennine Pen Animal Rescue We are an animal charity based in Oldham dedicated to the rehoming of unwanted and abandoned animals.
(267)

We are an animal charity established 2001, we take in and re-home unwanted and abandoned animals. We neuter, vaccinate and microchip all the animals in our care and vet all prospective homes to ensure suitability for animal and owner. We help as many animals as we possibly can, we do not have any age restrictions and never put any healthy animal to sleep. We neuter feral colonies and we also help people on low incomes to neuter their animals.

Cleo (was Skittles) was with us a while before finding her forever home and we didnt know why as she was lovely. Luckily she found herself an amazing family and this is the update we have had off them ❤️❤️

"Cleo is doing really well. She’s settled in and has just started to explore the garden. She loves her toy mouse as you can see in the picture."

Lucy is a cute, petite 18 month old girl who has sadly already had a little of kittens despite being a baby herself.

Lucy is now spayed and ready to find herself a family of her own.

She is a very friendly, affectionate girl who loves a fuss off everyone and would make a great family cat or companion for someone.

Lucy is very friendly with other cats and is currently sharing her room here with 2 other feline friends.

Lucy would like outdoor access once settled.

If you feel you could offer Lucy her foreber home please message the page directly.

Little Maeve came to us from a pound after being there a number of months and not being able to find a home. She was very nervous and confused when she first arrived and needed to feel safe and relaxed before coming to you. She was also very nervous about being over handled.

She was also matted and very underweight.

After settling in with us Maeve finally found an amazing family who understood her needs and that she had had a rough time previously and needed time to settle.

We are happy to say that Maeve settled in really well overall, they had their teething issues with a couple of things and she can still be a quirky girl at times but they love her and she loves them.

Here she is at the groomers, which was a massive step for her. We never thought she would get to that stage so soon, but she did it. How well does she look!!

Massive thank you to her family for sticking by her, working through her anxiety, and for getting her to where she is now.

Dior has left the building and is settling well in her new home.

She is still a nervous girl, but as you can see from the pictures her new mum has sent us, she looks happy and content and it currently looks like she doesn't have a care in the world ♥️.

Dior, along with many other dogs that come through our doors, came to us through the pound system. When she arrived, she was scared and bewildered when her world was turned upside down in an instant, but she slowly came out of her shell and learnt she could trust us. What these poor dogs go through is just heartbreaking to see and deal with at times as you feel for them so much, but seeing their happy ever afters like this is so rewarding knowing you have changed their life forever. ♥️

Poor Zac (7 years) was totally shut down when he arrived back into our care, as his owner had sadly passed away, and it turned his world upside down.

Zac was previously rehomed by us, so we knew he was a loving and friendly boy, once he was happy and settled, he just needed time to adjust to being back in the Rescue.

Once settled, Zac is an extremely loving boy, he puts his paw out if you move your hand away to let you know he wants the fussing to continue and he is also partial to giving your hand a lick.

We are happy Zac is now more settled with us, however, we would really love for him to be in a home as we know he will be so much happier.

Zac has lived with two other cats in his previous home, so he could share his new home with a feline friend.

Zac would prefer a quieter home without young children, but could live with older teens.

In his previous home, Zac did have outdoor access but did not go too far.

Zac uses a litter tray, he is neutered, microchipped, flea and worm treated and vaccinated, he also comes with five weeks insurance.

Please message the page if you feel you can offer Zac his forever home.

Cain and Mabel are two adorable 11 weeks old kittens who are looking for their forever homes as a pair or single kitten.

They are both super sweet and loving and would make ideal family cats.

Both kittens are currently in foster care with one of our amazing volunteers and are living in a multi cat household with no problems as they are very social.

If you can offer Cain or Mabel a home as a single kitten or even better as a pair, please message our page directly as we dont always see comments posts.

Please note that all other pets in the household must already be neutered.

3 year old Perry is such a lovely boy and he could be your new best friend because he is looking for his forever home.

Perry was a long term stray but has obviously been in a home at some point in his life because he is such a chilled out and loving lad who loves a fuss.

Perry is sharing his room with another cat so could have a feline friend or two in his new home.

He has no health issues, uses his litter tray, will need outdoor access once settled.

Perry could live with sensible older children.

Perry is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and has had a health check.

If you feel you can offer Perry his forever home please message the page direct. Existing pets need to be neutered.
