The practice is having the roof replaced over the next 6 weeks. The car park is now out of action so parking will be limited on the front of the practice or side streets whilst work is completed. Please make sure all medication is pre ordered prior to collection to enable a quick visit.

Saturday clinics will be running from our other practice in Whitestone CV11 6NU. The Edward street practice will be closed. Please ensure if you plan to collect meds on Saturday that these are pre ordered prior to Saturday so they can be taken to Whitestone for collection.

Thank you for your understanding at this time whilst the roof is replaced. Hopefully we will be leak free soon!

We would like to inform all clients that PAWS Veterinary Health Centre is undergoing a roof replacement in the coming weeks.

We are hopeful that we will be able to continue to remain open throughout the process, however we are putting in place a number of steps to ensure that we can continue the very best care while the works are ongoing.

Our planned starting date is 20th July and we expect the process will take 4-6 weeks.

Therefore during this time we will be shifting a number of our consultation and operating slots to Whitestone Veterinary Clinic on Hathaway drive.

Our reception teams will guide all clients along the way. We will inform everyone where their appointments will be carried out as and when you book and we are intending to contact anyone who has an appointment already to ensure clarity as to where your appointment will be.

We apologise in advance for any disruption, but intend to continue to work as routinely as possible during this period.

Bluetongue has been confirmed in Staffordshire in a ewe with classic symptoms. For those clients who haven’t vaccinated yet, please consider doing so or atleast protecting the most valuable animals in your flock or herd especially Rams and Bulls. If any one has only a small number of animals that they would they like vaccinating then we can organise further broach days where bottles can be shared between clients. Please contact the practice if you would like to discuss or order vaccine.

Bluetongue (BTV-3) has been confirmed in a sheep in Staffordshire. This is the first confirmed case of infection this summer.

We have a lovely young friendly neutered male cat at the practice needing a new home. If anyone is looking for a new cat for home with lots of outdoor access or on a farm or stables then please let us know your interest at the practice.

We are open as normal until 1pm on Christmas Eve and then our on call vet will take over until the practice reopens on Saturday morning.
