Well it seems I'm not being able to get away with this any longer, with some of you kindly asking if I have a 'happy event' on the way or thinking to yourself 'Leannes tops getting abit tight...' yes, yes it is 🤣

It's been a while since I've posted this gorgeous boy, I'm loving the winter, fluffier grooms! Beau had a good groom all over but not to short ready for the colder months. As you can see he's feeling much better!

Curious Canine Fact: Why Does Dog Fur Change Colors After Scars?

Have you ever wondered why your dog’s fur may regrow in a different shade following an injury? Delilah serves as a prime example!

After healing from a severe abscess, her fur is returning in a brown/apricot tone. This phenomenon occurs because the injury impacts the melanocytes, which are the cells responsible for producing pigment in hair follicles. When these cells are harmed or destroyed, the new fur may lack pigment, resulting in a white or gray appearance. On the other hand, if inflammation stimulates them more than usual, the fur may regrow darker, as seen in Delilah’s case.

Depending on the severity of the scarring and damage to the skin tissue is down to whether it will return back to her normal colour of white or whether it remains permanent.
