What an amazing time at the “Secret Santa” party yesterday! 🎅🎉 Our liveries really came through with the food buffet—what a spread! 🍽️
There were plenty of surprises as gifts were exchanged, and it was so much fun seeing everyone’s reactions. Thankfully, Santa kept it clean and didn’t leave any reindeer p**p behind! 🦌✨
It might not have been the fanciest event, but it truly shows the heart and community spirit at Ivy Lodge Livery! ❤️

They say it takes a village to raise a child, well at Ivy lodge it takes everyone to raise 4 baby barn swallows who have been sadly thrown from the nests!

In previous years we have always lost load of babies, from being thrown from the nest and then the parents not feeding them, we have tried putting them back in the nests but never with any success!!

This year we have managed to hand raise 4 little babies to virtually self sufficiency, from playing them you tube clips of the sound of then eating to trigger them to eat, to daily wing time and the multiple hand feeding soaked meal worms they are thriving and this is testament to the liveries who have really taken these little birds under there wings (pun intended)

It’s truely taken the whole yard to raise these babies and they will be sorely missed when they migrate for winter.

We do still have one stable free at the moment, so if you have a passion for feeding small birds (AND enjoying your ponies) please message the page for more information.

Winning Looks Easy… Until You See the Aftermath! 🏆🐴

Well, they only went and WON it!
Sarah and Leo took first place in today’s dressage test – calm, collected, and completely on form in the arena.

Back in the stable though?
Let’s just say the victory celebrations were short-lived… Leo is absolutely knackered and making it crystal clear that he’s done his bit for queen and country (or at least the rosette board)!

A massive well done to Sarah – all that prep, polishing and patience paid off.
And Leo? Time for a well-earned snooze and an extra carrot (or three). 💙

Leo and I are heading off to a dressage test today — he’s looking the part and (hopefully) feeling it too!

Here’s to staying in rhythm, remembering the test… and not spooking at the judge’s box 🙈🐴
