If the idea of 'foaling down' is worrying you, or you just don't have the support for 'foal watch' we are here to help...
We have vacancies for mare and foaling down livery this year. We can take up to two mares for foaling down followed by a full service of summer grazing and/or getting your mare back in foal, we also offer weanling livery if you wanted to leave your young horse with us whilst it grows up.
We have 22 years of mare and foal experience under our belts, so we offer a well set up and safe environment for your mare to be in.

This young man is a quality Irish Draught 3.5/rising 4yo 16hh and is looking for a new 🏡 he’s well handled and currently unbacked. His price reflects this, but clearly the more work and more established he becomes, now he’s based with us, his price will go up. It's with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have to let you know that we lost our beautiful Bea, one of our foundation brood mares, to a complicated colic 10 days ago 😢 She rallied for a 48 hours, but as I chose not to put her through surgery (she'd have been 26 in January) I had to let her go 😪
She had spent the last five years in glorious retirement, alongside her friends and I spent some quiet last moments with her and thanked her for the past 21 years she'd been in my life, and all the babies she mothered and the great love she'd shown each and every one of them 💕
Bea wasn't just my heart horse, she had connected to my soul 🤎💫 which I know will make some of you who knew her well, chuckle, as she could be pretty grumpy with people she didn't know!!
Her spirit will remain strong here at Fosshey, and her legacy lives on through all her babies 🐎🐎🐎 RIP sweet Bea, I miss you ✨ ###

***APPRENTICE OPPORTUNITY***
We are recruiting and looking to add an apprentice to our team 😊
If you are or know of any school leavers (16-18yrs) looking for their first opportunity to train for a job in the equine industry please apply to be our next apprentice.
The role on our full livery yard will be supported with a recognised training agency, and covers all aspects of yard, paddock and horse care.
There is no accommodation on offer with this role so you have to be commutable to and from Antrobus, Cheshire.
