Our 4 Day Lay Scanning Course is coming to Carmarthenshire, 28th September – 1st October 2026 and is designed specifically for non-vets looking to develop practical pregnancy diagnosis skills.

With plenty of hands-on, on-farm training, you’ll learn how to identify pregnancy, accurately date pregnancies and recognise barren cows all, with the support and guidance of our experienced trainers.

It’s a brilliant opportunity to develop a really useful practical skill, whether you’re looking to use scanning within your own farm business or commercially.

Our RoMS Mobility Scoring 1 Day Course is designed to give you the confidence and practical skills to assess cow mobility accurately and consistently.

You’ll learn what to look for in a cow’s behaviour, posture and movement, how to recognise changes that may indicate developing lameness, and how effective record keeping can help you monitor progress over time.

Consistent mobility scoring can play a really important part in reducing lameness within the herd.

By identifying issues earlier, you can take action sooner, review whether treatments and management changes are working, and build a much clearer picture of mobility across the farm.

The day also looks at the wider benefits of good mobility scoring, including animal welfare, biosecurity and the potential financial impact of lameness on the business. There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and draw on the experience of our trainers.

If you’re a farmer, herd manager, farm team member or anyone involved in monitoring cattle health and welfare, this is a really useful practical course to add to your skill set.

🚨STAFFORDSHIRE & DERBYSHIRE FARMERS & FARM MANAGERS – GET THIS ONE IN THE DIARY! 🐄

Our 3-Day Cattle Foot Trimming Course is coming to Burton on Trent, Staffordshire this autumn, giving dairy and beef farmers the chance to build practical, hands-on foot trimming skills they can take straight back onto farm.

Across the three days, you’ll learn how to confidently assess cattle feet, recognise common problems and carry out routine trimming safely and effectively – all with the aim of improving mobility, supporting welfare and helping prevent small issues becoming costly ones.

We’ll be out and about at UK Dairy Day on 16th September, followed by the 100th Cheshire Ploughing Match on 30th September.
