STALLHOLDERS WANTED!

We’re looking for fun, pet-friendly local businesses to join us at our Summer Craft Fair & Fun Dog Show in aid of SAF Cat Rescue.

♥️ Saturday 26th September 2026
💜 12 noon – 4.30pm
🩷 St Matthew’s Church Hall, Northampton

We’re looking for a great variety of stalls, including pet products, handmade items, treats, gifts, accessories, local makers, and unique small businesses – the more variety, the better!

💷 Stalls are just £10
📌 Please note: stalls are by application only to ensure a good mix of businesses and avoid duplication.

This is a huge milestone for us, and we genuinely couldn’t have reached it without the amazing support of one of our dedicated supporters.

A little update on the tiny kittens who came into our care a few weeks ago.

Sadly, one of the little babies didn’t make it. We suspect he may have had an underlying viral infection, and despite everyone’s best efforts, he was just too poorly. 💔

His tiny sibling is still fighting and doing well, although he’s needed a little extra help with constipation (not the most glamorous start to life!). He is being showered with around the clock love, warmth and care from one of our amazing fosterers, who is giving him every chance to grow big and strong.

Please keep those fingers crossed and send lots of love for this precious little fighter. We’re all cheering him on every tiny step of the way.

Beautiful Gus is searching for a very special person to give him the love and comfort he deserves in his senior years.

This lovely older gentleman is blind, but he doesn’t let that stop him enjoying life. Gus is gentle, sweet-natured and simply wants a safe, quiet home where he can feel secure and loved.

Sadly, senior cats like Gus are so often overlooked, but we know there is someone out there with a big heart willing to give this handsome boy the happy retirement he deserves.

🩷 Gus is available as a Supported Adoption 🩷

This means support is available towards veterinary costs relating to his ongoing senior medical needs, helping to ensure Gus gets everything he needs while settled in his forever home.

Gus’s ideal home…

- A quiet and calm home
- No young children – older, understanding children may be considered
- Ideally a pet-free home so he can enjoy all the love and attention he deserves (although he may possibly live with a calm older cat)
- His adopter must be able to return to the Cat & Rabbit Care Clinic in Duston should ongoing treatment ever be needed

Gus may not see the world, but he will absolutely feel your kindness, love and companionship 🩶

Suns out, blue skies are here… let the Bank Holiday fun begin! ☀️😎

Meanwhile, our little Suki, now Mackie, is absolutely loving life and having so much fun exploring the back garden.

She’s settled in so well with her new family and it’s been lovely watching her confidence grow and her cheeky personality come out.

Safe to say the garden is now officially her little adventure park! 🌿

🧡 Special Home Appeal – Meet Dave 🧡

This handsome ginger boy is Dave, and we’re searching for a very special, understanding home for him.

Dave is an extremely nervous cat who finds the world quite overwhelming. He may never be the cat who curls up on your lap or seeks lots of fuss, and because of this, he may not be suited to a busy family home.

What Dave needs is someone experienced with very nervous cats - a calm, patient person willing to accept him exactly as he is. We believe Dave could potentially live his very best life in a safe environment where he has outdoor access, routine, and the freedom to simply be Dave, with someone who will love him from a respectful distance and ask for nothing in return.

While Dave can be unsure of new people and situations, once he feels safe he has shown us glimpses of the lovely boy underneath - he enjoys gentle interaction and fuss, likes to play with his toys, and simply needs people willing to give him the time and space to settle.

For the right person, helping a cat like Dave feel safe in the world is incredibly rewarding. His trust may come slowly, in tiny moments, but he deserves the chance to live peacefully and be understood.
